The End Of An Era
Six years ago, I came to lovely Concord College in Athens WV as a wide eyed Freshman, full of hopes and dreams. It took, oh, roughly five minutes for this hell hole to crush all that and turn me into the bitter, angry person you all know and love today.
The one thing i've done that brought me joy over my time here at Concord was my radio show. Over the years, i've had multiple show names and time slots. But, over the last 3 and a half years, i'd occupied the Thursday 9pm to Midnight time slot. During that time, I named my show "D-Generation-X" and adopted the air name that was given to me by my friend Herb, that of course is Dr Johnny Fever. Last night marked the end of an era, last night was the FINAL DX broadcast EVER. So, I just wanted to take this lil bit of space to say thank you to all of you who have supported me over the years, all the bands that gave me CD's/Demos etc to play on the air and anyone else who ever stood up for me when the "powers that be" tried like hell to shut me up and take me off the air. So, with that in mind i say THANK YOU.
