1994, Turbo comes out and it's the best of the Street Fighter II series (and the last). The first time the "Super" meter was introduced in Capcom fighting games and Akuma's first appearance. The difficulty level on the machine I had first played on was set to the max and I couldn't even get past the 2nd or sometimes the 1st fighter. The second machine, in another arcade, wasn't set as high. The colors on this one seem to be more vibrant than the one before also. All the characters could now perform "Super" moves with the addition of the Super meter, found at the lower left and right hand corner of the screen. The Super meter builds up as your character performs special moves such as Ken's Fireball or Dragon Punch. Once the meter is full, you can perform the Super move by manuevering the joystick in the same fashion as you would a regular special move, only doing the motion twice before you hit the weak, medium, or fierce button. To fight Akuma, you must defeat all the characters in the game without continuing (or losing a round?) and he will come out on Bison's stage. Cammy has a new move called, "Hooligan Roll" which is effective if timed right. Very cool intro and endings to the characters too!
