Starting off with the cool anime intro and bringing the main characters into view, the story starts off with showing the bad guys and then the two characters that you can play as throughout the game. This is an action/platform game that was never released in the U.S. (or anywhere besides Japan). Very cool upbeat music and good sound effects fit the game's mood perfectly. No power-ups are in this game. Only hack and slash (and by holding the attach button down for a couple of seconds and then releasing it will have the character shoot out a ball like a fireball from Street Fighter II). This fireball can also be slightly controlled by holding the directional button in the direction you want it to go, only it won't stop on a dime and head that way. Only gradually. So some bosses require to hit them when they are out of reach from the ground or jumping and slashing. Not hard at all once learning the pattern of the enemy (and the enemies seem very easy). Multiple cinemas are throughout the game as well which is a nice touch and helps the story move along with the game and actual speech during gameplay and cinemas are also a plus. I'd recommend this game to anyone. Just wish it was longer.
