Produced by Treasure, this very innovative action/platform game has pushed the Genesis capabilites to it's limits. Well, maybe it hasn't shown what the Genesis is TOTALLY capable of but there is no other game like it in design and special programming tricks. The graphics, control, length, and overall presentation is excellent in every way. Multi-jointed bosses and great parallax scrolling throughout the game. Although finding this game is not too hard, the price goes from what it was new (around $50.00) to over $100.00 used. Every game Treasure has made has been a landmark work of art on several different platforms. Although I haven't played this game since I last rented it many years ago, I can still remember bits and pieces. Challenge is great too! Another game that Treasure made for the PSX in Japan (only) was Gunners Heaven. Looks similar to Gunstar Heroes but with better graphics and music. Import it if you can.
