Back in 1994, Konami released this way cool game. Some would say that CV: IV for the SNES is better but a lot would agree that this game is much better in control, challenge (hard as hell!), and replay value. Once again, the US box art is not that great, but better than some other games art. Get the import for the better cover! This game's graphics and music are very good. When you get some certain special weapons, music from previous CV games will play for a short while. You play as either John Morris or Eric Lecarde. John wields a whip while Eric uses a lance. Both have advantages and several individual uses. A lot of the enemies are well drawn and animated. The only really annoying enemy is those damned Medusa heads! But hey, what CV game would be right without them? One particular stage that is really cool though is the stage where you must work your way to the end of it's section while your character is upside down! So, as in all of the CV series, you must fight the infamous Dracula and in his different forms (the last being the strangest!). You must also fight with the Grim Reaper (YAY!) before you fight Dracula. Fire up your Genesis...and let the blood flow!
