Our new addition!

Ladybird was whelped on November 23, 1999 and joined our family on January 23, 2000. She is out of Cello von Light-Haus and Mia vom Sander-Haus. I chose her from the litter (actually I think she chose me) because she was the one to come over and sit on my lap, allowing me to rub her tummy and play with her. She just had that special "look" in her eye. click here to read more about Sander-Haus GSD's

Thornton's Virginia Ladybird- aka, Birdie

Birdie has made herself right at home with us. She loves all her squeak toys and pigs ears too, but her favorite by far is an ice cube! **Many thanks to Pillinger Graphics for this lovely image. E-mail here for questions concerning graphic artwork.

She is growing!

Here she is in her glory at the farm. At 16 wks. she is 30lbs and maintains a healthy appetite. I love watching her coat change each day. She is getting more white/silver hairs around the shoulder and neck and even a bit of rusty red on the hind legs above the hock. See current pictures of Birdie

Posing
