No big changes has been made over the years for the 300_EX's except for the flashy paint schemes. In 1992-1995, the 300_EX was all red with white and yellow lettering. In 1996, the lettering was all white with red plastic. In 1997 it was all red with white and yellow & green lettering. Then the most improved year was in 1998 when Honda added black to the front part of the plastic and brightened up the red to make it look racey. The 1998 lettering changed by making it white where it listed "300_EX". In 1999 the lettering changed to red with black outlining to make it even better looking. In 2000, the lettering changes to a different type of style that looks more millenium. The lettering is bright yellow along the bright red and black plastic. There is also two improvements from the 1999-2000. The black protector piece and the seat is red instead of black the keeps heat in.
