Descendants of Zsigmond Bertalan
Zsigmond Bertalan (d. before 1910) and Elizabeth (Ersebet Szilagyi daughter of Teme Szilagyi and Ersebet Cuaka) b. 1853 d. 1947 in Watervliet, Michigan resident of the Hungarian Baptist Old Peoples Home. They had two children:
After Rose died, Rev. Bertalan (in 1910) and his son came to the United States (young Imre arrived with his grandmother Ersebet Szilagyi and his aunt Eszter Politzer in 1913).
The son Imre became known as Jimmy or James, called that by a local minister in PA where they settled.
James Bertalan then married Ethel Lucille Peto on July 17, 1926 in McKeesport Baptist Church, McKeesport, PA. They had seven children
