~TO MOM, WITH LOVE~

I DO NOT APPROVE OF ANGELFIRE BANNER ADS!

I am dedicating this page to a very precious person in my life: My loving Mom. She has been a source of encouragement, unconditional love, understanding, forgiveness. She has shown her version of healing hands by fixing my cuts and scrapes, not to mention my broken heart when I would get my feelings hurt! If my Mom hadn't been a part of my life, there would be an important piece of me missing, feeling empty. The biggest part of my heart is filled by God's Holy Spirit; the next part is filled by Mom; and being a Mom, myself, the next part is filled by my son.

One of my most precious memories is when I had my son; Mom came to stay with me for a week to help out; I went through some very rough problems with the delivery of my son and on top of going through a C-Section to deliver, I had several other problems, too. I needed my Mom, once again, to come and help fix my hurts. She was there for me and my baby. I will never forget the first time she got to see him, when he was already 5 days old; he was a small little fellow and she said he looked like a little china doll: tiny and delicate. She picked him up gently and held him up to lay his head next to her cheek and kissed him on his cheek, calling him her precious angel. I was having a child later than most first-time Moms and he definitly was a miracle and a special gift to me. That memory will never fade from my mind as a very special time of bonding that still stands in strength and closeness today.

Mom, I want you to know that if I could have looked down from heaven and picked the one who would be my Mom, I would have picked you!!! So I am so greatful and blessed that God chose you for me!!! I know that there have been times that we have disagreed but I would gladly go through anything if it meant that you wouldn't exist if I didn't. You sacrificed the biggest part of yourself when you had me: your loving heart, which has never run out even today. Mom, I love you and I pray that God lets us have alot more time together; but if it isn't in His will, then I know that we will reunite in our Heavenly Home, where we will never be separated ever again.

MOTHER

A mother makes a difference
In so many lovely ways,
In the echo of her wise advice
And gentle words of praise,
In the sense of famly closeness
And belonging that she gives,
In the beautiful example
Of the caring life she lives.

A mother makes a difference
In the way she loves us so~
In ways that others see....
And ways that only we can know.

Mom, here is a notation from Todd,Brenda,Matthew, and Andrew that I put here on your page: Dear Mom, I pray the Lord will bless you as you are honored on this day! We love you!

Mom, as time passes, I pray that God gives me the strength to be half the Mom that you have been to me. It took great courage, strength, faith, love, and determination to do the best you could do to raise five children. Against the odds, you accomplished what alot of Moms don't do: provide for your children, not only with the material needs but everything was done in love, even teaching us that there were consequences to every action we chose to act on, whether it was positive or negative. Thanks, Mom, for teaching us responsibility, how to feed ourselves, and be independent, although we can never out-grow the need for our Mom.

Mother...That is a wonderful word. You have been the most wonderful Mother any child could want. For I, too, am one and I hope I can do as good a job as you have with us 5! You have taught me so much that I can also share with my daughter and your Grand-daughter, Trista. I remember when she was born. You were at the hospital and the nurse wouldn't even let you touch her! Some rule! LOL. You have truely have helped me with being the Mother I am today and in helping me have the most wonderful daughter; I must not have been too bad a girl since mine isn't 10 times worse! LOL. I love you, Mother and wish you the most wonderful Mother's Day and Birthday, and also Anniversary ever! With All my love, your family, Love Sharon and Trista.
