Wrestler of the Year: Triple H is WWE Attitude's choice as the 2003 Wrestler of the Year. Triple H reigned as RAW's Heavyweight Champion for all but three months of the year, and beat some pretty big names that include: Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Goldberg, Kane, and Rob Van Dam. Aligned with his Evolution cronies Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista, it looks as though Triple H will be heading into 2004 with the right support to watch his back and ensure that he remains Heavyweight Champion for as long as possible in the coming year.
Runners Up: 1. Brock Lesnar; 2. Chris Benoit; 3. Goldberg

Tag Team of the Year: It's hard to go against a team that calls themselves "The World's Greatest Tag Team," but in 2003, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin were just that. The brash young duo enjoyed two reigns as Tag Team Champions of the SmackDown brand and were able to stave off injuries midway through the year to finish strong. Look for these two to have an even greater showing in 2004.
Runners Up: 1. The Dudley Boyz; 2. Eddie & Chavo Guerrero; 3. The Basham Brothers

Match of the Year: The WWE had 11 months to try and top the Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit match from the 2003 Royal Rumble on January 19, but was unable to do so in my eyes. These two are the pinnacle of what scientific wrestling and intense WWE wrestling action are all about, and the pain inflicted in this match ranks up with the greatest matches in WWE history.
Runners Up: 1. Shawn Michaels -vs- Chris Jericho (WrestleMania 19, 3/30); 2. Triple H -vs- Shawn Michaels (RAW, 12/30); 3. Rob Van Dam -vs- Christian (RAW Ladder Match, 9/30)

Feud of the Year: This past year saw its fair share of feuds, but none were more volatile or brutal than the feud between Triple H and Goldberg. Not only do these two guys not care for each other in real life, but the animosity and turmoil between these two men dominated RAW for almost half the year. The tide shifted back and forth in this feud, with Goldberg managing to finally capture the title from Triple H on September 21. From September 2 up through Armageddon, Triple H was determined to gain his title back and stopped at nothing to do so and finally recaptured it by pinning Goldberg in a Triple Threat Match that also featured Kane at Armageddon on December 14.
Runners Up: 1. Brock Lesnar -vs- Kurt Angle; 2. Kane -vs- Shane McMahon; 3. Steve Austin -vs- Eric Bischoff

Television Show of the Year: Monday Night RAW. When a show features the likes of Triple H, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Booker T, and Kane on a weekly basis, it's going to take an awful lot to upstage talent like that. SmackDown came close this year, but the flagship WWE program of the past decade was able to maintain its spot as the promotion's top program. But, with such great stars as Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and John Cena, you can fully expect that SmackDown will be ready to make a run in 2004.
Runners Up: 1. SmackDown; 2. Velocity; 3. Sunday Night Heat

Pay Per View of the Year: Every year it seems WrestleMania raises the bar for other Pay Per Views to measure up to throughout the year. WrestleMania 19 not only raised the bar for the rest of the PPVs to come in 2003, it raised the bar on WrestleManias. It had the huge setting, fabulous matches such as Michaels/Jericho, Triple H/Booker T, and Angle/Lesnar and provided great athletisism and excitement that rank up with the best WrestleMania has ever witnessed.
Runners Up: 1. Royal Rumble; 2. SummerSlam; 3. Survivor Series

Breakout Wrestler of the Year: Randy Orton may have a major title to his credit in 2003 by capturing the Intercontinental Title from Rob Van Dam in December, but nobody in the WWE had a breakout year like John Cena. Cena stepped up his game in a big way in 2003 and proved he could hang with the big dogs and gave guys like Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker all they could handle and then some. His skills in the ring are quite impressive, but he also entertains on the mic. Look for Cena to win either the World Title or United States Title for the SmackDown Brand in the upcoming year.
Runners Up: 1. Randy Orton; 2. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin; 3. Batista

Most Improved of the Year: John Cena being the Breakout Wrestler of the Year also had a lot to do with his much improved work both in the ring and on the microphone. Cena stepped it up in 2003 and looked and acted like a new man compared to his rather bland character from 2002. Cena arguably has the best gimmick and mic skills in the WWE today.
Runners Up: 1. Randy Orton; 2. The Big Show; 3. Christian

Most Popular Wrestler of the Year: It was a tough call, but after much thought, Shawn Michaels wins this award despite a late surge by John Cena. Michaels has the fans in his back pocket in virtually every city and every arena from coast to coast. He is well respected and received due to his electrifying moves and never-say-die attitude, and is never afraid to step up to a challenge, regardless of the odds.
Runners Up: 1. John Cena; 2. Rob Van Dam; 3. Chris Benoit

Most Hated Wrestler of the Year: Whether it's in an arena in front of 18,000 fans of backstage, don't expect Triple H. to win too many popularity contests with WWE faithful. Arrogant and shady as ever, Triple H. and his stablemates in Evolution did everything in their power to make the lives of their RAW advesaries a living hell, and gained few fans in the process.
Runners Up: 1. Randy Orton; 2. Chris Jericho; 3. Brock Lesnar

-On the same topic, Bret Hart will not return to the WWE at WrestleMania 20 or at any other time in 2004.

-Chris Jericho will step up his game and have the best year of his career in 2004.
