*** SITE UPDATE ***

Please take the time to read the entire story.

Wow! It has sure been a while that I have updated this site.

Firstly before I begin, let me take the time to wish you all a very Happy New Year, and please excuse the lateness.

Before this update, the last time I updated this site was the 12th of August 2003.

Don't get me wrong, I have wanted to update, the problem however is that with the WWA now dormant, it leaves very little to update, and very little to do here at the site.

Back when I first started the father site to this one, WWA Fansite, I had no idea that it would become as successful as it had.

However as time changed, so did the need to change to another site, and thus from WWA Fansite, WWA XTREME evolved.

Even with the change in websites and web addresses, the same simple concept remained; "provide accurate and detailed World Wrestling Allstars information to all those that seeked it".

The problem is, as the WWA seemed to dwindle, so did the interest in WWA Fansite, and to a lesser extent WWA XTREME.

I wont lie, one of the main reasons I embarked upon making a World Wrestling Allstars Fansite, was due to it not being a full time promotion, and since it wasn't there wouldn't be as much that I would have to do.

And so I created an account at Geocities, and using Geocities Page Builder, WWA Fansite was indeed conceived.

I was so happy the day that WWA Fansite was actually getting consistent traffic, 10-15 unique visits each day.

WWA Fansite was one of the very first, if not the first World Wrestling Allstars fansite websites published on the internet, and the same spirit lives in this site today.

Another reason why I started this site, was I had seen the birth of the WWA, and this way I could have a simple and effective way of keeping track of all that took place, and if need be pass this information on to those that needed it.

However as time passed the site grew. Record numbers of traffic were coming in with each new World Wrestling Allstars tour. There were pitfalls in the months where the WWA was dormant, however my simple desire to see the WWA succeed pushed me on each time to updating this site.

Which brings me to the final point. Is there a WWA anymore? And a question that soon follows: Is there a WWA XTREME without the WWA?

I am more then willing to continue to update the site, providing there is interest and traffic that passes through the site.

I would love to see the forums breathe again, and to see them flourish, not the stand still they have been at for many months now.

I have met many people through this site, and the WWA, and I would hate to see the avenue that has allowed me this to become extinct, like so many other things that I have believed in.

Please tell your friends, your auntie and uncle, your pet budgie about this site, and allow it once again to flourish.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to see you not only at the forums, but at a WWA event real soon!
