WWF Circa 1989

In 1989, Hogan & McMahon came up with No Holds Barred, a B-level movie that had Rip (Hogan) having to fight against a Television Executive's monster, Zeus. Anyway, the end had Hogan destroy Zeus and win the match. But that wasn't the end. One night on WWF TV, Zeus appeared near ringside before a Hogan match and handed his ass too him.

Zeus also, If I may say, had a limited amount of wrestling moves at his disposal. He gradually used wrestling holds such as....

The dreaded BEARHUG!!!

And let's not forget the move he used 99% of the matches he was in.....

The dreaded CHOKE HOLD OF DOOM!

He would also use other nerve holds that looked more like chokes. Anyway, after debuting on TV, Zeus hooked up with Randy Savage, forming Anti-Hogan alliance #323. After Zeus failed to defeat Hogan at the 1989 Summerslam & Survivor Series, he & Savage took on Hogan & Everyone's favorite wrestlecrapper, Brutus Beefcake in a steel cage match on it's own separate PPV.

If anyone bought it, I have permission to shoot you in the God damn balls. Hogan & Beefcake wound up winning and Zeus fled the WWF. And to think, Vince had an idea of making Hulk Hogan Vs. Zeus at Wrestlemania VI. Hell, I'd probably watch it, but face it, Zeus can't wrestle and sucks ass, and he was better off sticking to making films./body>
