WWF Circa 1990-1991

Patriotism is at an all time high as the Gulf War has just gotten underway over in the Middle East. Hoping to make money off of this incident, Vince called up Slaughter asking him to return as an American trader turned Iraqi.

So at Summerslam 1990, we got a chance to see Slaughter live for the first time on the Brother Love show, showing his "true" colors.

After debuting his new gimmick, the heat caught on Slaughter. What better way to prove your a badass then by painting your face camouflage and leading a team of jobbers to a loss?

Anyway, after Survivor Series, the gimmick really pissed people off, after defeating Warrior in probably the worst PPV World Title match with such bad run ins it would make a criminal piss his pants. Anyway Sgt. slaughter won the match....

And the puke stained World Title Strap.....oh wait, that was Warrior's preferred color of the month. God awful to say the least. Anyway, the travesty that is known as Sgt. Slaughter would drop the title the first chance possible (after figuring no one gave a shit about him nor Adnan) and gave it to Hulk Hogan and the character was dropped not too long after. And then the WWF believed it would make the fans like him by returning to the American side. What a god damn front runner.

I guess WWF felt we were a bunch of idiots. Of course, we proved him wrong, as Slaughter never recovered from this bad era.
