WWF Circa 1992-1993

For reference of how bad the WWF was during this time frame, pick up a copy of Wrestlemania IX. Damian Demento is likely the most...bizarre of gimmick wrestlers back in the day. I mean, he claimed he was from the Outer Reaches of your Mind, probably worse then The Shark's hometown, The Great Barrier Reef.

Anyway, Demento never got any kind of a push, in fact, I doubt anyone wanted to work with him. For example, one time he was teaming with Blake Beverly, I believe, and spoofed him so bad by talking to his hand....

Let me repeat that.

HE WAS TALKING TO HIS HAND!!

Anyway, he spoofed him so badly, he actually made Beverly have a fit and break kayfabe. If talking to his hand wasn't bad enough, he sported the most unusual hairstyle and goatee.

By January 1993, Demento was a nothing and was soon jobbed out. I don't recall him ever going to WCW, so I guess he just disappeared in our minds the same way he surfaced.
