Chad Murphy - "Justin Payne, good to see you here with us today. Let me say its an honor to have our first interview with you, the first WoW World Champion EVER! Not to meantion first ever co-holder of the WoW Tag Championship along side Smoke Dawg."
Justin Payne - "Well the pleasure is all yours, yes I am the first WoW Champ EVER, and co-holder of the WoW Tag Championship, but a lot has changed since then."
Chad Murphy - "Alot has changed since then.....people have came and went, but you my friend have rode the waters. But enough about that. People began to doubt if you could do it anymore, the losing streak seemed unbreakable. But this week on Malice, you seemed back in form. What have you done differently lately to bring about this revival?"
Justin Payne - "Well first I had to find the Justin Payne that loved to do this for himself, then it was like riding a bike."
Chad Murphy - "Lets take a look at your match where you defeated the team of Chandra Desdemona and Tim Gorder."
*Chandra Desdemona turns to run away, but runs head on into JP, who is now alive and kicking. She runs right into a 'Paynestaker' as B-Pac smiles and cracks the bat over his knee. He exits the ring and tosses the broken bat into the crowd for souvenirs, before heading backstage. Payne pulls the ref up and slaps him a few times trying to wake him. As soon as the ref is responsive, Payne makes the cover and hooks Chandra's leg. The ref counts..... 1....... 2...... 3!!*
Chad Murphy - "Now just this next Sunday, you're scheduled to face Tim Gorder again in an all out grudge match. After having defeated him in tag team action, how are you going into this match?"
Justin Payne - "I'll go into this match, like I do every match...well prepared. For some reason, Tim Gorder singled me out. I guess to make a name for yourself, you target one of professional wrestlings top draws of the century...me. Well, Tim Gorder wanted a fight, and that is just what he has gotten himself into..a fight. He seen the new, or old, Justin Payne at Malice. That was tag match, and this will be a grudge match. So Tim can expect the unexpted because we all know that when it comes to a PPV...I am the man who delivers."
Chad Murphy - "Yes, you have always been the man that delivers. But for a while, when you retired, you couldnt and well missed for it. What brought you back out of retirement."
Justin Payne - "Well, even in retirement, I kept close tabs on the WoW. One thing that seemed to be missing, was that "something" that kept the fans on their feet. That "something" was me. Rob Van Dam used to coin the phrase, MR. PPV, but RVD never seen me wrestle."
Chad Murphy - "What is that...something you think you possess that noone else does?"
Justin Payne - "I am not taking anything away from the others in this federation, but yes, I do believe I posses that little somethign extra that keeps the fans screaming. If you have ever watched a WoW PPV, whether I am in the Main Event or just semewhere inbetween, it is my match that gets the fans talking the next day. I give forth 110% and believe you me, the fans pay that back in respect ten fold."
Chad Murphy - "That you are. If memory serves me right, you've been in more pay per views here than anyone else to call this place home. n all of those matches, which would you say would have to be the most memorable to you?"
Justin Payne - "I would like to say my Tournament victory win to become the first WoW Champ, but, for me, it has to be the First WoW ppv. I was against Shotgun Maverick in a hell in a cell match where the both of us fell THROUGH the cage to the mat below. There was no decisive winner in that match, but it was THAT kind of publicity that made Justin Payne a household name."
Chad Murphy - "That was back in the hayday of the WoW. Shotgun Shawn Maverick, Storm, Mastermind, Boy Wonder, and the man you have the most past with, Phuze."
Justin Payne - "Names from the past...but never forgotten. Phuze. Phuze was the man I loved to hate. His skill in the ring and on the mic is one I have yet to see someone duplicate."
Chad Murphy - "So very true. And you as well as anyone knows we all hated to see his untimely departure. But as of late, the WoW has had a rush of talent, new and returning. Out of all of them, which would you most like to face?"
Justin Payne - "I think that right now, XXX is the one I would like to face. I see a lot of potential in that man, and I for one, want to see how far that potential can go."
Chad Murphy - "Potential, something you have alot of. Now that you have seemed to kill off the bad luck streak you have had, where do you see Justin Payne potentially going here in the near future?"
Justin Payne - "I see a second reign of World Champion in the near future. I have a shelf life of maybe five years left. I will NOT be a Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan. When my time is up...I will bow down gracefully, but for now, I am ready to be on top again."
Chad Murphy - "Well, thats all for today. I'd like to thanks Justin Payne for coming, and wish him good luck at King Karnage!"
Justin Payne - "Thanks for having me here to be again, the first in WoW to do something."
