Scott Hall, a member of the nWo has come to the WWF for one sole purpose, to destroy the very company. The nWo cost Stone Cold Steve Austin the WWF Championship when they interfered in his match at No Way Out. Austin has singled out Hall for revenge, and hopes to get some at WrestleMania.

The Feud:
This one started at No Way Out where Hall and the nWo cost Austin his match for the WWF Title. The nWo came out during the match and attacked Austin, helping Jericho retain his tile. Scott Hall went on to deliver two Stunners to the man who invented the Stunner, Stone Cold. Then Hall spraypainted "nWo" onto Austin's back. Austin wasn't going to take this lying down.
The next night on RAW, Austin stormed the ring and called out the nWo, who made their way out to the stage. When Austin told them to come to the ring, they had a conference, then just walked back and left Austin. The nWo would then go onto make their impact on The Rock, while Austin was arrested.
Three more nights of hatred brewed inside the Rattlesnake, and by the time Smackdown rolled around, Austin wanted a piece of the nWo, namely Scott Hall. While the nWo was in the ring, Austin stormed the arena in his truck and took Hogan, Nash, and Hall out with a crowbar. As an injured Hall tried getting away with his nWo buddies, they went to their limo, but it had been ruined. The tires were flat and "What?" had been spraypainted all the way across it.
Austin drove up while the nWo was looking at their limo, and caught up with Hall. Austin then tied Hall up in a chair with duck tape. Austin went on to harass Hall all night and set a trap which locked Nash and Hogan in a fenced area backstage.
Austin then threw Hall in his truck and brought him to the ring. Austin hit Hall with beer cans numerous times and also smacked him in the face as well. Austin then stomped a mud hole in Hall and walked it dry by kicking him continuously. Austin then wanted to toast to Hall, but then gave him a huge Stone Cold Stunner which sent him flying. After that, Austin ripped off Hall's shirt and spraypainted "3:16" right on him.
On the February 25th edition of RAW, the nWo made their way out to the ring duing the opening segment. Scott Hall went on to challenge Stone Cold Steve Austin for a match at WrestleMania. He said if Austin accepted, there would be a "truths" where the nWo wouldn't go after Austin. He told Austin that he was screwed come WrestleMania.
When Michael Cole cought up with Austin in the back, Austin accepted the match but made it known that he didn't believe the nWo about the "truths."
Stone Cold came to the ring at the end of the show for his match against Mr. Perfect. The nWo was still lurking in the back, as they had wished Perfect luck against Austin. After Austin won, the nWo stormed the ring and Scott Hall hit Austin in the knee with a cinder block!
On Smackdown, February 28th, Austin made his way to the ring, but before he could even speak he was interrupted by the nWo. Scott Hall told Austin that he was going down and out when WrestleMania rolled around. Austin then took out a "gun" which had a net inside and shot the net at Nash who was the only man left with Hall, as Hogan had made his way to the back. Austin then tried capitalizing and went after Hall, but Hall got the upper hand with some punches and some shots to Austin's now injured knee.
On RAW, February 4th, Stone Cold made his way to the ring for a match against Booker T. Soon into the match the nWo made their way down to the ring and began to beat down Austin. Austin tried to gain the upper hand, and soon he was succeeding. Then, Hall got a wrench from a tool box under the ring and hit Austin right between the eyes with it. Austin was busted wide open! The nWo all took their shots at Austin. Then, Hall took Austin by the face and warned him about WrestleMania. Hall left the ring with the other nWo members, but he came right back in to get more revenge. Hall gave Austin a Stunner and left the ring! Austin lie in the ring with blood dripping from his forehead at the hands of Hall.
Hall, Hogan, and Nash then went into Austin's locker room and drank all of his beer. Austin was in bad condition as he try to get out of the ring, but he wouldn't allow medical attention and staggered his way to the back and was announced to have been brought to the hospital for stitches.
On March 7, Smackdown came and Austin was announced as not being in the arena. During the main event of The Rock vs. Scott Hall, the nWo went after The Rock. Austin made his way down the ring and attacked Hall, throwing him into the table where the ring bell is kept. Hall was able to get away, but not before Austin took out Nash with two chair shots.
On RAW, March 11, Stone Cold and The Rock met the entire nWo in a handicap match. Austin and Hall were able to get in the ring and wrestle each other numerous times duing the match. After the nWo picked up the win, Kevin Nash gave Austin to Hall and he smacked him in the face and once again gave him a Stunner.
