You can put Spring Stampeed 1998 up there with the likes of WWF's The Main Event and...well that's it actually, but this event is one of Liz's biggest bumps in pro wrestling. As Macho say's in his interview there will forever a black cloud over that day and he is right. The lovely Liz escorts Macho Man to the ring in her usual professional manner and stands at ringside and looks pretty for about 10 mins. During the match just as Macho is about to do his top rope elbow drop, Stings pops up off the canvas in a face off. At which point Liz hops into the ring as only she can with a chair and smacks Sting in the back. OK, so its not really a smack, more of a tap on the back but it gets Sting Attention. Macho uses Liz as a shield and pulls her in the way just as Sting Stinger Splashes her in the corner. Liz drops to the ground and is carried away by medical officials. Savage shows not sighs of remorse. Tut, tut!
