In early 1996, Hulk Hogan asked WCW to contact Elizabeth and suggested that she returned to wrestling. Unsure of exactly what she was letting herself in for, Elizabeth returned in January to make a surprise appearance at Clash of the Champions.

Elizabeth's involvement at the PPV is minimal and pretty much stands at ringside to cheer on Macho Man and Hulk Hogan.

The alliance wouldn't last long, as behind the scenes Liz and Randy found it hard to work together again. The next month, Elizabeth turned her back on Savage at Superbrawl VI.
