(Lights in the arena go dark. On the Titantron in big blue letters comes up E...1...T....W each with a booming sound as it races from the back of the screen to the front. The background on the blue letters goes pink and then explodes as the vocals "King of My World" explode over the P.A. Spotlights all over the arena hit the top of the stage where Tyler is facing the audience with his arms raised high in the air. He is wearing a the typical Wellsabe shirt and Breann comes out from behind the curtains at this point. Bre walks in front of Wells down to the ring as he chews on a piece of come and reeks of arrogance and confidence as he walks to the ring chomping on his gum with his right arm in the air with a #1 finger.
He gets a kiss from Breann on the apron and then jumps over the top rope. He climbs the near left corner facing the camera and raises both of his arms as a pyro effect with "T. Dubs" burns above the ring. Tyler gets down from the ropes. He spits out his gum hits it with his hand as it sails off towards his opponent.)
Tyler grew up in Miami destined to be a wrestler. His father, Kip Wells had wrestled, and his fathers father Jacob Wells had been a superstar back in the old Stampede Wrestling. Jacob moved the family to Miami when he got out of the game in his early 40's. Kip had a successful career, but you won't read about him in any record books or anything. When Tyler was born, his grandfather called him the "Golden Boy" because of his amazingly light blonde hair. Jacob and Kip trained Tyler together through his entire young adult life. Tyler was a state wrestling champion his freshman year of High School in Florida and that is when arrogance began to become one of his trademarks.
Tyler didn't go undefeated through high school, but he won't let you know that. He was a 3 time state wrestling champion, only missing his the championship his Junior year when he got a terrible case of mono the week the tournament started. He fought to the semi finals, but was defeated and finished in 5th place.
After high school Tyler could've gone to college but his call was wrestling. His father Kip trained with him daily until he was in 22 years old and got an offer from the IWF. Tyler debuted on the program along with his boy-hood friend Johnny Roberts, and the rest was history.
Tyler found immediate success in the IWF capturing the X-Treme title. When blow came to blow he finally left the fed and darted for the OWF where only more glory awaited him. Tyler won the Intercontinental title in only his third match. He held it for awhile then went after the World title which was held by Beezwax. Tyler defeated Beezwax thanks to the help of his secret mistress at the time, Breann. With Breann in his corner, Tyler adopted the nickname 'Elite One' and continued his ascent towards wrestling immortality at the age of 23.
Tyler and Breann jumped from fed to fed. Usually capturing gold wherever they went. Tyler was offered his big break one day when the President of the PCWF asked him to take part in a 4 fed 32 man unification title tournament. Tyler accepted and was able to outlast the field as the dark horse coming into the event. This is the highest point in Tyler's career, and would be for most any other wrestler as well.
Along the way, Tyler met Brent Nelson. Brent taught Tyler a lot about the ins and outs of the business. When push came to shove however, Tyler always thought that he knew more than Nelson could teach him and the two split. When the TWF came calling at the Elite One's door and said that Brent Nelson was the man in the TWF, Tyler was more than willing to accept any offer they had on the table. All in an attempt to prove to Nelson that his time is over and it is time for Tyler to be crowned the new man in all of wrestling.
