As "All Within My Hands" by Metallica hits the PA system, "The Natural" walks to the ring in a string of boos. Shots of red, yellow, blue, and green pyro echo throughout the arena. As Price gets closer to the ring, he jumps to the mat, and finally walks in to face his opponent. He always seems to stare down the opponent for hours, but only lasts seconds
History:
Price was born in Atlanta, GA to Vicki and Mike Price. He had a sister, Deana Price as well. He led the normal life, playing music and watching the usual wrestling TV shows. He wanted to go to wrestling school, but his parents always seemed to shrug it off. When he was 13, his father died of an unknown heart attack, and Price had to move to North Carolina. His mother died when he was 16 of alcohol poisoning. Seeing that he could only live with his sister, he decided to run back to Atlanta, and began to live his dream of going to wrestling school. He wanted to be like the guys on TV, and he could only accomplish that by getting an education. He came up with the gimmick of "America's Youth," who always put down the youth of the country and saw that they were what was wrong with America. When he was 21, he was called to go to the Big Sky Wrestling Federation, where he faced competition from such talents as Gryphon, Hawk, Raine Dawson, Luke Von Erich, and so many others. However, economic problems caused BSWF to shut down, and Price was left without a job.
Youth soon met a boy in the same type of situation that he was in when he was 18. His name was Blake Williams, and he was trying to get into the New Generation Wrestling promotion. Youth became a mentor for Williams, and took him up to the top of the promotion. However, more economic and social problems plagued the promotion, and it shut down as well.
Youth dropped Williams soon after, and decided to go back on his own. He reached Power Surge Wrestling with the help of Luke Von Erich. He fought such competition as Shane Steele, Joe Max Ontario, Amos Jones, and others. He reached the first pinnacle of his career by beating Amos Jones for the Hardcore Title. He also joined a tag team with Vance Wood called 10-44, and they began to reign in PSW soon after. Between this time, Youth realized who he really was and turned into a cocky,arrogant "bastard" named "The Natural" Preston Price. He took his legal name, and finally put it to use.
