History:

Marky Chang started his career as a tag team wrestler with his brother Wu Chang in the AWFL at 18 years old, he captured the Minor Championship, AWFL Tag Team Championship, and finally the AWFL National Championship.  After the AWFL's sudden closure, Marky stumbled across the United Wrestling Federation, deciding to go solo after his brother's almost career threatening injury, he won the World Title, and was Co-Member of the tag team champs in his very first apperance on the weekly televised program.  Marky went on to become the first grand slammer of the UWF, and eventually held every title, including three world title reigns.  (www.angelfire.com/ca3/uwf).  Finally, in the UWF's dying days, Marky decided to leave the federation before it's closure.  Marky found his way to his first big federation, The Online Championship Wrestling Federation.  Upon reaching the OCW, all of the UWF stars, plus an entire world of new talent held much spite towards the gold-determined Marky Chang.  Having problems with the owner of the OCW, Nomad decided it was in his best interest to keep Marky away from the title scene for as long as possible.  Marky cared not for titles, and eventually earned a reputation of being better then the actual champions in the federation.  People challenged Marky Chang for the right to have a chance to win the title of having his respect.  Marky went on a long reign before finally being granted a cruiserweight title shot.  Marky, hardly interested in such a low division, obviously took the challenge, and the title, only later that night to compete in a surprise appearance for the WORLD TITLE.  Marky captured the title, once again taking home two titles on his first chance of perfection.  Marky stayed in the OCW for 2 years, only to leave, and return for one final horrah!  During his stay in the OCW (www.angelfire.com/ns/ocw), Marky became again the first grand slammer, holding the OCW World Title for 3 reigns.  Marky left the OCW by word of his long time friend Gryphon, to come to the Big Sky Generation!!  Upon Marky's arrival at Big Sky, he was rather disappointed as it was an Indy like federation, with only one location for it's televised events.  Marky thought twice about staying after his debut match was hardly a challenge, however, Gryphon convinced him to remain, as did the competition, who thought of themselves as way out of Marky's league.  Marky fought hard for the next couple weeks, even suffering a rare defeat (after he's already won a battle royal earlier in the night).  For the first time in Marky's career, a month went by and he was hardly noticed.  Marky all of a sudden, as a "filler" got thrown in a match with TWO of Big Sky's Blockbuster stars, Raine Dawson and Renegade.  In one of the biggest upsets in wrestling history, Marky pulled of the victory, immediately establishing a name for himself, and instead of being booed like most of his career, fans respected how he earned respect for such a cocky, previously inexistent wrestler, and they cheered him from this day on.  Marky had some of his greatest rivalries in Big Sky, including Gryphon, his long time friend who he turned on him upon his face turn.  Kakuma, a feud that still takes place today.  Luke Von Erich, Big Sky's long time fan favorite who felt heat upon Marky stealing some thunder.  Renegade, perhaps the man that driven Marky to succeed the most.  Along with several others.  In a classic match, Marky defeated Gryphon and Renegade to capture the Deviation Title twice.  After the longest title reign in Big Sky History (100plus days)  Marky was granted a world title shot, against the man at the time, "The Entertainer" Stephen Hawk.  Marky prepared well for this feud, only to have the shock of a life time.  Big Sky went out of business just days before his big chance.  Marky disappeared from the wrestling world for months to regroup.  After awhile, Marky found his way to the IWF.  Several of the Big Sky talent had found their way there, making Marky feel like home again.  Marky quickly earned a Contendership match to become the first world champion, only to have a staff screw job, which had Raine Dawson pull a scam with the referee to allow her husband, John "The" Beast Steele to capture the first title reign.  Marky continued on, only to witness this mess up be cleared when Raine Dawson was fired, and John "The Beast" like the bitch he is, crawled between his legs and went with her.  Marky soon after became the World Champion, lasting until the fed shut down months later.  Marky took about a month off, but not staying away from the action long enough until he opened his own federation, the Action Wrestling League!  The AWL was lacking success, and Marky lacked the management skills to control his staff, partially due to his cocky, arrogant attitude.  Marky sold to AWL to his previous student whom he taught back in the days of the OCW, Mark Spears.  Mark Spears went on to merge with the IWF roster and the AWL roster to form the UWA.  Marky Chang vowed to help out his friend by taking on the competition, competing in the ACWL.  Marky clearly destroyed ratings in that federation, challenging all the champions to non title matches, and defeating them with ease.  UWA was a hit, everything was going great, until Spears and Cole had a few accidents in their televised contracts, and eventually a petition was made to send Cole out, and have Spears take total control.  The UWA remained a hit, only to see it slowly fade out of action.  Mark Spears sold his roster to Lance Jeffries of the AWO, who after only one week quit his federation to become a college basketball coach!  Meanwhile, Marky disappeared from action and has been away from the game for several months now.  He's come here in true fashion, to fool the world, and to become the WORLD CHAMPION.
