As the lights faintly dim, the beginning cords of “Becoming” by Nine in Nails echoes through out the facility; the image of a circle of fire burning on the sands of Ancient Egypt flood the big screen. With the points of a pentagram marked by a silhouette of black candles Anjel emerges from the center of the circle looking as if she’s coming through the canvas. A caw of a raven is heard as “Winter” emerges from the backstage circling the stadium as Anjel steps onto the ramp wearing an attire of black leather straps with 3 golden pentagram stars covering the essentials. The lights begin to flicker as an errie chant of “The Anjel of Demise” is heard and the image on the big screen bursts into flames.
History:
Not much is known of the one they call ANJEL. Legends have it she was born October 31, year unknown. Born the daughter of a Hebrew slave Arielle; Paige Dargue grew up in disgrace and poverty, fighting for every morsel of food her tiny hands could reach for. Studying into black magic, spells and curses; Paige vowed to one day seek and destroy the creator in which imprisoned her and her family that separated them at birth.
