TWE Texas Face-Off 2

Date: March 6th, 2004

{The event started off with the TEW Commissioner, James Pittman, welcoming everyone to TEW Texas Face-Off 2. However, before he could say anything further, he was interrupted by Maxx Lavaro. He got on the microphone and stated that he ran off everyone including Ricky Roberts. At that time, Roberts came bursting out from the backstage.}

Maxx Lavaro vs. Ricky Roberts
~This match started off extremely good. Roberts got in a great deal of offense until Lavaro somehow stopped the fast and quick superstar. The match came to a sudden halt when Roberts missed the Phoenix Splash and was knocked out cold from a massive Clothesline.
Winner: No Contest

{After Roberts was knocked out, James Pittman, ran into the ring screaming at Lavaro for doing what he just did. He checked Robert's eyes and then just got into Lavaro's face while Sean Cordova, Xero, & Mongoose stretchered Roberts into the back. Pittman was right in Lavaro's face yelling at him that if he did something like that again, he will be suspended. This is where Lavaro completely snapped and cursed heavily. Before he could lay his hand on the Commissioner, Bruiser held him back.}

Maverick vs. Mongoose
-This was Maverick's second ever match in TEW and he gave everything he could to take out Mongoose. However, things didn't seem to go his way because Mongoose put him to rest with the Flight 180.
Winner: Mongoose via Flight 180

#1 Contendership Tag-Team Title Match
Project 666 vs. El Drunken Starz
-This match was for a shot to wrestle World of Madness in April at TEW Aftershock. Bizarro was on fire in this match and threw Magik up in the air like he wasn't anything. However, even though Bizarro is a 30-Year Vetern, Magik found a way to ground him and keep him grounded. The end came when Bizarro and Fantastico grabbed up Xero and hit their Tag-Team Finisher, Star Crusher, which is a Powerbomb/Neckbreaker Combination.
Winners & #1 Contenders: El Drunken Starz via Star Crusher

{After the match, Bruiser came out and brutally attacked both Bizarro and Fantastico. He got on the microphone and stated that he will do the same to them in April at TEW Aftershock when El Drunken Starz takes on World of Madness for the Tag-Team Titles.}

3-Way Match
Rezin vs. "Pretty Boy" Bobby Von Neil vs. Angel of Sin
-This was the debut of all three wrestlers and they certainly proved themselves to TEW. They went at it like there was no tomorrow. The match concluded when Von Neil slammed Rezin on top of Angel of Sin off the Turnbuckle.
Winner: Bobby Von Neil via Pinfall on Angel of Sin

Non-Title Match
Jason Skyy vs. Ultimo Astro
-Andrew Dalton came out with Jason Skyy and quickly jumped on the microphone stating that there is no one worthy enough to take on Skyy for the Elite Title, due to Joey Titan not appearing. So therefore, this match will be a Non-Title Match. After Dalton was talking, Ultimo Astro & the hurt Bizarro, came out to the ring. Skyy and Ultimo have wrestled eachother before and this match flowed well. Skyy finished off the match with his double jump Moonsault from the top, which he calls Above the Rest.
Winner: Jason Skyy w/ Above the Rest

TEW Championship Match
"Supernova" Sean Cordova (c) vs. "SGW" Andrew Dalton
-These two have wrestled in several Texas Promotions but never in Texas Elite Wrestling. Straight from the start, Dalton started playing mind games with Cordova by bailing out of the ring a lot. However, after the third time, Cordova was frustrated with him and flew out of the ring on top of him. Cordova then took him to the side wall and Russian Leg Swept him into it. He then got a lot of offense in but was stopped after a massive German Suplex. After grounding Cordova for several minutes, Cordova got his second wind and started taking to him once again. But before he could get the win, Cordova fell into the Family Tradition but somehow kicked out! Dalton called out Jason Skyy, who came out with a Steel Chair but Cordova dropkicked the chair in his face right when he got on the apron. When Cordova turned around, Dalton kicked him in the stomach and called for the Piledriver but Cordova reversed it and Swept Dalton's feet and pinned him with the Jackknife Pin.
