TEW Stairway to Gold 2

Date: April 10th, 2005

{The event started off with the TEW Commissioner, James Pittman, welcoming everyone to TEW Stairway to Gold 2. He was interrupted by Maxx Lavaro who told him that he thinks he deserves a Elite Title Shot. At that time, Ricky Roberts came out and demanded the same thing. Soon after, Sean Cordova came out and requested the Elite Title shot too. With all three men in the ring, The Elite Champion, Jason Skyy, came out and told them no one will get a shot tonight. However, Pittman thought differently. He made a 4-Way Ladder Match for tonight!}

Invitational TEW Title Match
~The match abruptly started after the Interview was over. Jason Skyy and Maxx Lavaro nailed Sean Cordova with the Elite Title and was disqualified from the match. Angel of Sin came out and hit his Imploder Suplex and pinned Cordova. After that, Rezin was the next one to take the invitation. They began to wrestle with Angel of Sin catching him with the Imploder Suplex for the pin. Angel of Sin, at this time, thought he had the match in the bag; however, he was far from it. 5 wrestlers came out to take the invitation consisting of Joey Titan, Mark Vance, Bruiser, Pretty Boy Bobby and Mongoose. Angel of Sin took out Bobby. Vance laid down for Angel of Sin and demanded him to pin him. Titan fought hard but couldn't take the big man out. Bruiser also did the same but was put away. At this time, Angel of Sin was extremely tired and Mongoose was fresh. Mongoose came in a house of fire and took Angel of Sin off his feet with the Bicycle Kick. He then suddenly was nailed with a Massive Clothesline that dislocated his colarbone. However, he kept going through the pain and defeated Angel of Sin with another Bicycle Kick to become the TEW Champion!
Winner & New TEW Champion: Mongoose via Bicycle Kick

Tag-Team Title Match
Bruiser (c) vs. El Drunken Starz
-Bruiser came out and told the fans that he will be defending the Tag-Team Titles alone and tonight he is going to take out Fantastico and Bizarro. He quickly started pounding away at them. He got the win after a Sit-Out Powerbomb. After the match, he demanded a match against all three for May 15th's TEW Aftershock!
Winner & Still Tag-Team Champion: Bruiser via Sit-Out Powerbomb

Mark Vance/Maverick vs. Joey Titan/Rezin
-This was the debut of Mark Vance and the return of Joey Titan. The match was quite a good one with Vance and Maverick keeping Rezin isolated from tagging in Joey Titan. However, Joey Titan got the tag and came in and started going away at Maverick and Vance but was quickly shut down by Vance. The match ended when Rezin got the tag and came in on fire but was drug out of the ring by Pretty Boy Bobby leaving Titan in the ring alone with Vance. He turned right around into Vance's Finisher, The Heat Seeker, for the win.
Winners: Mark Vance/Maverick via Heat Seeker

4-Way Elite Title Ladder Match
Jason Skyy (c) vs. Ricky Roberts vs. Sean Cordova vs. Maxx Lavaro
-This was a long brutal battle with all men going at it like crazy. The match started off fast and furious with Roberts and Cordova going away at Lavaro and Skyy. However, the two's friendship didn't last that long. Each men had to take at least 4 chairshots apiece. Cordova was throwing the chairs right and left but at one point Skyy caught it and threw it back in his face while Cordova was climbing the turnbuckle. Lavaro was busted open after a Massive Chairshot by Roberts and Roberts was busted open by a Double Catapult done by Lavaro and Skyy. The match ended when Cordova was thrown out of the ring and walked into a Running Big Boot by Lavaro. Skyy jumped out of the ring onto Lavaro leaving Roberts in the ring alone to slowly climb the ladder and grab the Elite Title.
Winner & New Elite Champion: Ricky Roberts
