07/13/02 - We would like to thank all the fans who cam out and supported us and the Wrestlers who were on the show last Saturday night in Jacksboro for The Jim Wigington Memorial show.

What a great night of action we had as TOS was in the building trying to get an advantage over TOPS from the last show. Brett Bonz was scheduled to take on Scott Stuart and a mystery opponent. Mr. Venom would not reveal who the mystery man was until the event. Stuart came out alone to face Brett, as Venom nor the mystery man were anywhere to be found.
After the match started, out came a masked man walking around ringside watching the match. When Bonz got the advantage, this masked man entered the ring and began attacking him. We were to assume this was the mystery man. Then the masked man pulled off the mask to reveal Mr. Venom! Venom was the mystery man all along. Brett did not have much of a chance as Venom & Stuart kept a fresh man in at all times and Bonz had no one to tag out to.
It was obvious Venom had suckered Bonz into this match as he was well prepared to wrestle. In the end, Venom & Stuart both caused Bonz to tap out and got the win. However they were not finished as Chuck
Murphy came out and they began a 3 on 1 attack on Bonz until Venom had enough. Venom then told Bonz he better think twice before he involves himself in his business again.

Venom debuted a new member of The Crue in Solo. Not much is known about this guy other than he is a gangster from California. He faced Ricky Jackson in a Hair vs. Hair match. This was an interesting match up as these two obviously have a lot of hatred for each other and in the end Jackson won by controversy and Solo was shaved bald. Jackson has a lot of hatred for Venom and this feud will not end here as Venom vowed
revenge.

The F'N Texan defended his newly won Southern States Title against Kyzer Douglas. This was a hard fought match as Kyzer tried to take out JPW's leg and worked on it the whole match. Kyzer almost had the title won but he made a mistake and JPW took advantage of it and defeated Kyzer.

Chuck Murphy was set to face his cousin and fellow TOPS wrestler Keats Douglas in a Ladder match for the TX Light Heavyweight Title. This had the makings of a very interesting match as both of the wrestlers are fan
favorites but the title was on the line, so friendship was out the door.
They went at it like they were bitter enemies going back and forth. Keats pulled out a ladder and both men began using it as a weapon. It was obvious this ladder would not reach the belt. So Keats went and got
a 20 ft ladder and brought it to the ring. They used this ladder as well on each other and Keats tried a couple times to climb to get the belt but was stopped by Chuck and knocked to the mat. You have to give these
guys credit they put their heart into winning the belt and in the end Chuck climbed the 20 ft ladder and got the belt to retain the title.
After the match was over Chuck showed very good sportsmanship by picking Keats up and congratulating him on their match. However out came Kyzer Douglas to sneak attack his brother. It did not last long as Venom went and got The Shooter & The F'N Texan to help out and even up the odds.
Then out came Scott Mustaine who was not even scheduled to be on the show and began attacking The Shooter. Mustaine claims he was screwed out of the TOPS Tag Team Titles and wants a rematch. Venom told him that if he can get him a partner to come to De Leon TX on August 3rd and take on The Impact Thrillers for the belts. Venom has decided to add something a little more to the match however. He has challenged Danger Inc. to bring their FWA Texas Tag Team belts and have a title vs. title match. Mustaine has agreed to this stipulation so the match is set.

Speaking of the tag titles we have been contacted by The Overboyz demanding a tag title shot. Saying they have wrestled all over The United States and they deserve a shot and they do not care who the champions are. This should be very interesting as they are a very good team and could be a worthy challenger to whomever the champions are at that time.

The Texas Title was on the line as Wade Walker took on his cousin Justin Walker in an Extreme Rules match. There is a lot of hatred here as Wade is furious his own family member turning on him and joining TOS. They
fought all over using anything they could get their hands on.

This was a very grueling match and Wade was doing everything he can to keep the belt with him and on TOPS side and not let Justin take it to TOS. Wade came out on top, but not without putting up a fight as both
men were bloody and beaten. Once again TOPS came out with the advantage and I assure you we will not give up now, however I understand from sources that say that THE BOSS is very furious. TOS needs to stop and think that, yes they caught TOPS off guard once, but now we are here for a fight.

Again we would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting us and keep checking back for more information on the next shows.
