02/17/02 -Well fans things are heating up here in TOPS.
We had another great show this past Saturday and we would like to thank all
of you who came out and supported us.
Once again The President was out of town on business, so Venom & Blue
were in control of the show with Jimmy James being The Commisioner. They opened
the show saying that Fitz was not working here anymore his contract was up
and he did not renew it. Much to their suprise Fitz came out and he was on
crutches from the attack made on him. Fitz said he had talked to Rusty and
they agreed to a new contract and he is the TOPS Announcer for 12 more months.
Also Rusty signed Chris to a contract as well so now we have an interviewer
who says it like it is and does not hold back. Looks like Venom didn't get
his way again, thanks to Rusty. The identity of who attacked Fitz is still
a mystery, although it seems kind of odd that Venom now sports a cane that
was supposively used in the attack. Venom refused to comment on this situation.
There was a very big man sitting in the crowd all night wearing a TCW shirt.
No one knew what he was doing here. Venom was just as suprised as the rest
of us to see him. He sat in the crowd and kept to himself most of the night.
However, we would all see later just who and what he was. More on that
later.
The Hard 8 conducted an interview and Wade told Kyzer that he had a great
match last month but that someone had to win and it was him. Chris was
asking some very tough questions to The Hard 8. He even asked Wade that
since TOPS has a rule that you can't hold two single titles what was he
going to do now that he has the Cruiser belt and the Texas belt? Wade said
that since he can't hold both, that he would relinqish the Cruiser belt. At
that time, out came Mr. Venom and The Crue. Venom stated to Wade that Chuck
Murphy was the rightful champion and he wanted the belt. Chuck then told
Wade to drop the belt and walk away because he was the true champ. Wade said
that he recalled that last month Shea defeated Chuck so he is the rightful
champion. Shea told everyone that if they recall he was never beaten for
that title, he was stripped of it because of an injury. So Wade then said
that he thought Shea and Chuck should fight to see who is the rightful
champion. Venom then talked to The Commish, Jimmy James, and they agreed
that if Shea thought he deserved the belt and since Chuck is the #1
contender that we would settle it all tonight. Venom told Shea that he
guaranteed he would not walk out with the belt. Well, later on in the night
Shea and Chuck had a match for the belt and Shea walked out the champion
even after Venom and Scott Stuart interfered. Venom went as far as to take
the ref out and take matters into his own hands, but in the end Shea got his
revenge on Venom, Tornado style. I doubt that Mr. Venom will interfer with
Shea's business again.
Venom somehow manged to get one of his newest members "The Shooter"
Scott Stuart a Light Heavyweight Title Match with the Cowtown Kevin Duncan.
Venom did everything he could to make sure Scott won this belt. Chuck was
out during this match as well so it was 3 on 2 as Hoss was in Kevin's corner.
Hoss and Venom were at each other this whole match. In the end The One &
Only tried interfearing but was caught by Ric Manning so Kevin kept his belt
by DQ. But this did not stop The Impact Thrillers as they double teamed Kevin
until Shea Wright came out and evened up the odds. Afterwords Venom &
Hoss finally got it on and let's just say that Venom was lucky that the secuity
was there to save him. Hoss is out to take Venom taken out for good.
Wade Walker was set to defend his Texas Title against former Champion Hell
Hammer. Venom was not at ringside, but rather at the announcers booth. He
said he was here to watch this match and that he had a suprise for everyone
later.
We soon found out what his plan was. The big guy from the crowd interfered
in the match and took out Wade & Hell Hammer. Venom rushed to the ring
with a title in hand. Then we found out what was going on. This man was Hellraiser
Hark, the TCW Heavyweight Champion. He made it known to everyone that he was
here to take out anyone that got in his way. He said he had been looking for
Hell Hammer for years and he finally caught up to him. He would show Hell
Hammer what hell was really about. He made an open challenge to anyone in
TOPS who thought they had the guts to come and step in the ring with him.
Wade being the TOPS Champion, took him up on the offer, but to no avail. Hark
took care of him and threw him around like he was nothing. Then Hell Hammer
got back in the ring and these two big men fought, but again Hark was still
standing. Venom made it known that he was tired of Hell Hammer always dropping
the ball and that he was fired and Hark was his new hired hitman. Venom will
not stop, He is so serious about taking over he has got some of the wildest
wrestlers I have ever seen.
Venom is still not finished with The Douglas Brothers.
After they defeated The Punisher & Brett Bonz, out came the Crue to attack
the Douglas Brothers. Now the difference is that there is somone to stop Venom.
The Hard 8 came out to even up the odds and run the Crue off. Looks like Wade
has done what he set out to do and that is to stop Venom fro running all over
TOPS and bring it back to the fans. So we have Venom's Crue who keeps growing
and we have The Hard 8 who will not stand by and let The Crue run all over
everyone. Things are really beginning to look good for the good guys, only
time will tell. When will the guys realize that venom is sjut using him tog
et hwat he wants. Time after time he drops someone becuase they did not do
what he wanted. Someone needs to stand up and show what Mr. Venom's true colors
are.
