
The road to Wrestlefest continues on Carnage live from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The show starts with the first money in the bank qualifying match between Gabriel Cervantes and Shane Ballance. Cervantes hits Ballance with a moonsault and then applies the Cervmission and wins the match as Ballance taps out in the middle of the ring. Cervantes is going to Wrestlefest and celebrates in the ring after the match
Carnage general manager Greg Banks comes to ringside and shows footage of Titan wearing a dress on Brawl and gets a good laugh with the crowd. Banks says that just goes to show what a joke the other show is. Banks calls out the new Carnage girls who had their debut ruined last week by SIW Lightweight Champion Michelle. Banks says tells them that Michelle has agreed to apologize for her actions last week but when he calls her out, Michelle beats the hell out of all four of them until Ashley Simpson appears from the crowd and drops Michelle with a reverse DDT. Simpson kicks her down in the corner until security comes out and pulls her off
After a short break, Gateman and Doogan try to calm down Michelle who wants revenge on Ashley. Banks tells them he had no idea that Ashley was in the building but he’s arranged something for next week. Michelle will get a chance to get even with Ashley next week in a no dq, no count out match for the SIW Lightweight championship
The next match is the second money in the bank qualifier between Zach Blain and Trent Jordan. Trent’s inexperience haunts him in this match as Blain dominates and picks up the win by pin fall after delivering the Punishment Driver. The SIW academy graduate Blain has had an up and down career but is going to Wrestlefest and hopes to win the money in the bank to get his career back on track
Gavin Payne tells Grunge that he is on his own tonight because he has some personal business to take care of
Wrestlefest 2007 will be held live from the Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida on March 25, 2006. This sports entertainment spectacle happens only once a year and will include the superstars of Brawl and Carnage as well as the traditional hall of fame induction.
SIW Extreme Champion Natedawg gets a nice pop from the crowd as he takes on Ryan Ford in the last money in the bank qualifier. Ford has been on losing streak recently and even lost his shot at Maurice Bad’s heavyweight title to Darren Knight at Meltdown. Things continue to look bad for Ryan as Natedawg is more aggressive than ever and takes the win via pin fall after delivering the Gangstanator in the middle of the ring. Nate cuts a promo after the match and says he will beat five other asses, climb the ladder and take the briefcase and create the greatest Wrestlefest moment of all time
Jessica White announces that Matt Uzi has suffered a minor injury last week on Carnage and will be out of action for another week
Dallas Nash gets a mixed reaction as he makes his in-ring return on Carnage. After signing his contract last week, Banks notified him he must win a gauntlet challenge to make his return official. Nash defeats Keith Thomas, Chris Hall & Oscar Reynolds one after the other with ease but out of nowhere he’s leveled by a sledge hammer thanks to Gavin Payne who is possibly upset that Nash ignored his challenge on the SIW website. Payne busts him wide open and continues to punch him in the open wound and blood covers the canvas. Payne takes the mic from the announcer and tells Nash he’s going suffer every week until he accepts his challenge
Brawl For All - For SIW fans that missed Monday Night Brawl this week.
Greg Banks announces that the #1 contender for the Heavyweight championship Darren Knight will be the special referee in the main event as the Bad Assassins take on Collision Course for the SIW Tag Team Championship. Darren Knight tells Maurice in a little over two weeks, he’s going to win the most prestigious championship at the biggest event of the year and there is nothing he can do about it.
Two competitors that will challenge Sonny Smith in a triple threat for the North American title at Wrestlefest, Grunge and Asylum battle in the next match. Asylum gets a near fall after delivering The Breakout but Grunge kicks out. Grunge delivers a superplex and both competitors are down. Grunge reaches over and covers but asylum kicks out. Grunge goes to deliver the Grunganator but Asylum counters and sends him over the top rope with a back body drop. The battled on the outside until the referee decides to count them out. Grunge and Asylum keep fighting until road agents run out and rip them apart
Doogan and Gateman get into an argument before their match. Gateman accuses Doogan of being too focused on Uzi and not on the team. Doogan then says the same about Gateman with Drako and the SIW Championship. Michelle tells them to shut up and to focus on their match against the Bad Assassins
Darren Knight gets booed as he comes out to officiate the main even tag team match. Maurice Bad and Knight get into a stare down before Knight calls for the bell to start the match. Doogan attacks Bad and whips him into the corner and levels him with a corner clothesline. Doogan delivers a big boot and then tags in Gateman. Brandon kicks down Maurice in th corner but Smith gets involved and throws Gateman outside of the ring. Sonny goes after Gateman on the outside but he’s double teamed by Collision Course. Doogan whips Smith into the steel steps. The match continues as Maurice drops Gateman with a triple german suplex and then applies the Bad Lock in the middle of the ring. Gateman taps out but Darren Knight purposely turns around and tells Doogan and Smith to get back to their corners. Bad pushes Knight and all hell breaks loose in the ring. Smith nails Doogan with the Assassination and Knight drops Bad with the Direct Hit and puts Gateman on top of him and count a fast three. The show ends with Knight giving Bad the middle finger as he walks backstage. How will the Bad Assassins get even Daren Knight next week for screwing them out of the titles?
