~Rekindling The Maxem Flame~
The HWA World Heavyweight Title match. A match watched over by millions. A match that could go down in history. But as everything adds up it was just one match. Just one match that could have changed one mans life in the HWA. That obviously didnt happen as we still have the same champion Judge. A hard fought battle by both opponents, and a time where new champions were crowned. It seemed it was a successful night for Tha Aftermath, and yet an unsuccessful one. It seems Tha Aftermath has crumbled and Ryan’s plans for Obliteration were cut short, as he was supposed to be the newest member of Tha Aftermath. But like people say life moves on, and as it does you just got to keep on fighting. Ryan’s fight has just begun, and it is very possible that he intends on starting over. Due to the fact that his plans did not work out at all.

Moving on. What is there to move onto? Ryan has already lost to Judge two times, and since Judge is the champion maybe Ryan should move back down like Judge said. Start his career over, and fight the smaller fish like Kevin Conner, or maybe go for smaller titles, and build back up to possibly fight once again for the title that means so much to Ryan. The World Heavyweight Title. But why continue to fight for something you could have already had, not once but two times. This is how Ryan has been feeling, very doubtful. But some may not see this but Ryan has once again for the third time been granted a World Heavyweight Title shot. Not directly, but he has been given the chance to fight his way back up top for what he loves most. Already loosing twice is there a point to this. Should he even try to get back to the top of the ladder only to fall all the way back down? First round match Ryan goes up against the Irish babbling bad man Jason Marah. Maybe this is what Ryan needs. To rebuild himself. To get off his ass and fight for what he has always wanted. Although the fighting will be tough Ryan may have to fight people, like Michael Diamond, or Danny Starr or TCO, not to mention if Ryan wins this he will once again be facing Judge. There’s an old saying "The third times a charm". Or is it just a saying? No matter what it is this is a chance for Ryan to rekindle his flame, and once again have a shot at Judge.

But why start over. What’s the reason to, just because he lost to Judge for his most prized possession? The World Title is even that important. The new goal for Ryan should be just to beat the man he has never yet won against. In Ryan’s entire career he has always beaten a person he has lost to, no matter what the circumstances are. Maybe this will be enough for Ryan. Maybe Ryan will fight and train hard enough for Judge so that he can win. So he can do what most people think is the undoable for Ryan Maxem. The thing people think is impossible. It must be proved possible; it could be proved in this LMS Tournament, if Ryan can pull off a win. But how is this possible. If Ryan wins he has to fight one of the most feared wrestlers in HWA, or may have to fight him anyways. That man being "The Sensational" himself Danny Starr. Last years LMS winner. So as many will see this is not going to be all that easy for Ryan Maxem, in fact it will be quite hard. And is this LMS tournament, it seems that this is the one match people really want to see happen. Ryan Maxem vs. Danny Starr. People look at this as possibly one of the greatest possible matches in the LMS tournament, but if this did happen who would come out on top, or would they even win their matches. Danny Starr has yet to show his face, and the same goes with Ryan. Not to mention the second round may be the hardest round in the LMS tourney for Ryan, but there are others wanting to win bad enough in Ryan’s division too. The other threat Ryan sees is Michael Diamond, but there’s no need to worry about that just yet. There’s still plenty of time to think about that one, that is if Ryan even makes it that far.

Moving on, it is now Thursday night, and the World Champion in HWA remains, but what remains of Ryan Maxem. The man that was defeated, the man that lost to Judge due to yet another stupid mistake. The fact that Ryan took his eye off his opponent cost Ryan the match. And now Ryan is here in his Milwaukee Mansion tending to his wounds. Ryan is now seen in the living area of his home, and the surprising yet predictable knock on the door, from Erin Wallace herself is heard. Ryan who was once holding a roll of medical tape, and some bandages as set them down, and now makes his way to the door. Answering it, he allows Erin to proceed into the large home, and Ryan heads back to the same couch tending to the same wounds, not smiling, not even thinking of why Erin is there. This may not be the best time for an interview. Erin stands in the open doorway looking at Ryan who is once again sitting in the same spot. She closes the door and heads over to Ryan. She has a confusing look on her face as she goes over to Ryan sitting across from him in another couch which is around a large glass table.

Erin: Still healing from your wounds from Obliteration Ryan?

Maxem:..........

Still concentrated on his cuts, and bruises Ryan pretends nothing was said.

Erin: You know Judge looks to be in worse shape then you.

Maxem: Yeah so what, I busted him open, he’s got a little cut. I care nothing of cuts or scratches or bruises, or even broken bones. I’m so used to everything I could care a less about them. And just so you know I’m fine from Obliteration, this cut on my chest is not from Judge.

Erin: Well then....

Maxem: Erin why did you come here today? You know damn well this isn’t the best time for an interview, and knowing that you should have stayed at your little wooden desk and did paper work. Your going to do nothing but piss me off, with all your little questions, and right now I’m not in the mood to discuss my last match.

Erin: Well then we wont talk about your last match. We will talk about your next one. With FoS member Jason Marah. The man that has just returned to wrestling for being gone for about a year, and the man has already said a few works about you. He seems to be even more confident then you were at Obliteration, that was before your match, when you were so confident.

Maxem: Yes I know how I felt before the match, and yes I blew it once again, and this Jason Marah is nothing. He’s a damn joke, a FoS pawn. He’s nothing to me, and never will be. I heard his so called promo, and I saw Danny Starr too. And like I said I care nothing for Jason Marah, the Irish babbling drunk. I hope he has his little party with his friends, so I can then beat his little mind senseless. Now Danny Starr there is a man I care very much about. I’m sure he will be the one I will fight in the second round after I beat this Jason character.

Erin: Why is it you care so much about Danny Starr and not even a bit about your next opponent. You may not even fight Starr in your next match.

Maxem: Are you kidding? He’s last year’s winner. I’m sure he can make it to at least the second round.

Erin: Yes your right, but what if he fails to do even that?

Maxem: Then I could have alot of FoS members to deal with. Hell Ill practically be fighting them all over again, only this time they are more powerful, and have different members. I highly doubt this time they will go out so easily. I may even have to fight Cara Starr. Danny’s little sister, what fun that would be.

Erin: Yes, but the talk of the tournament is Danny Starr vs. Ryan Maxem. Everybody wants to se the match, and see just which of you will win. After all you are both great wrestlers, and you having the last title shot, and Danny Starr winning this thing last year you may be part of yet another unforgettable match.

Maxem: Don’t get your hopes up so high. I don’t care about this match everybody talks about as much as they think. My mind has been set on Judge for the past week, and that’s all I have been concentrating about is Judge. Really I care nothing of anybody else. But Judge, he thinks because he has beaten me again due to my own stupidity that he is better. Well Judge I think differently. I think very differently from you. Unfortunately in that match I made the mistake of taking my eyes off you which did cost me the match. I had his tall ass overpowered and almost begging me to stop. I can and will beat Judge, I just have to wait my turn again, this time I feel the results will be changed.

Erin: How are you so sure? You seemed so sure you were going to win last time, and you blew it.

Maxem: Erin like I said you basically came here to piss me off. Now I suggest you shut your mouth before you end up like the mailman that mocked me earlier. Now Ill answer your stupid question how am I so sure? You see I had Judge beaten. All I had to do was pick his big ass up and put him in my finisher. Judge I want you to watch my next couple of matches, surly you will find no more mistakes from Ryan Maxem, and you should expect no more mistake next time we fight. You won because I screwed up, not because you’re better. Some may think that because you still have that title, and for the second time you did beat me, but just look at this tournament. Look at all the men I would have to fight if I did make it all the way. Surly I would be ready for Judge. HWA's best are in this little tournament, and now if I won I would show Judge what I learned. I would show him, and the world why I am ready.

Erin: You know even the people you consider to be smaller, or weaker like Kevin Conner, can still pose a threat, and it seems Kevin has been making some impact on the HWA. He really wants to win this thing bad.

Maxem: I’m not worried about Kevin Conner, I am in a whole different division then him, and I may not have to even think about him. He’s just one man, anyways. I’m more worried about people like Danny Starr, and Cara, and Michael, only because they are all together. Not to mention half of the FoS is on one side of the LMS tournament. The same damn side I am on. So right now there’s no reason for me to be worried about a man that thinks he’s the hardcore icon, or some great hardcore guy when he just lost last week.

Erin: Ryan you lost last week too.

Maxem: One more time Erin, I dare you.

Erin: Well what about Fudge then?

Maxem: You know Fudge is the kind of guy that takes what he gets, I can tell that by just the type of guy he is. If Fudge and me do end up fighting wow. It will just be another match for me to look forward to. But like I said, I’m not looking that far ahead just yet. The furthest I’m looking right now is second round.

Erin: Well tell me something about Jason.

Maxem: What is there to say about him. He’s a Irish drunk, who thinks he’s going to beat me after not wrestling for one year. Then he thinks he’s going to have all these parties with his friends and blah blah, and he will beat me so easily. There’s nothing to say about this man. He’s just a cocky drunk bastard who has nothing to lose, and that is why I will win. He better think twice about this match because I do not give handouts to people who don’t deserve them. Jason Marah will be finished next week, and it is then that he will shut his mouth about Ryan Maxem. Unlike the movie, this Jason will not come back. Once you step in the ring, you’ll be lucky to step back in it with me again. I wont tolerate your shit. And I damn sure wont let you beat me hands down. If you’re going to go through me you have a decent chance of winning the tournament. But like I said if he beats me, because those facts are highly unlikely. Jason Marah be ready, because you will experience Technical Difficulties, and it will be the best damn thing that has happened to you in the years you have wasted not wrestling. Just be ready Jason, that’s all I ask. This tournament is just a test for me, you are my first obstacle. That is all Erin. Now leave me.

Erin: But we have only just begun.

Maxem:.........

Erin: Ryan?

Maxem: Scram!

Erin: Fine, fine. We will continue this late.....

Maxem: Erin you’re pushing it, you really are.

Erin gets up and walks silently to the door, exiting Ryan’s home with some questions answered, and some she didnt even get a chance to ask. Where will Ryan go in the LMS Tournament, and how far can he get? The scene zooms out, and fades to black.
