Rey Mysterio Jr.

This message brought to you by Rey Mysterio Jr.

Fans are on their feet cheering for their favorite DMI wrestlers while waiting for the nights show to kick off. In their hands many even hold signs. Some signs that are out there are for HBK, DX, Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold, APA, and many other superstars. They don't have to wait long as a half hour before showtime, the fans are treated to a special presentation. Twin burts of whiteish-gold pyro's shoot up through the ground of the stage, and between the pyros jumps up Rey Mysterio Jr. The fans cheer out for Rey as he stands on the stage and looks out to the crowd. He raises his arms up into the air and listens to the fans give him an even bigger response. Today Rey Rey is wearing a pair of black wrestling boots, a pair of black and silver pants with a matching mask. He also has a long black fur coat that reaches all the way down to the ground. His chest and stomach are well toned. It is visible that he has been training and working hard for his upcoming RAW debut. For it is not just any debut but a main event debut that will determine the number one contender for the Undisputed championship. Rey walks down the ramp and slaps hands with some fans on the way down to the ring. Before getting into the ring though Rey walks around the perimeter of the guard rail and slaps hands with all the fans in the front row. Than Rey grabs the bottom rope and pulls himself onto the outside ring apron. Grabbing the top rope with both hands, Rey than jumps up onto the top rope and pushes off and back flips into the ring. When he lands he has a big smile on his face, just showing that he is having a good time being out in the ring. Rey makes his way to all four turnbuckles and crosses himself on the forehead than raises his arms to the fans. Than he gets off the turnbuckle and is handed a microphone from Lilan Garcia. Lilan then walks over to the ropes and starts to climb out. Rey seeing this walks over to the ropes. He grabs the top rope and pulls it up while sitting down on the middle rope, making a bigger opening for Lilian. Lilian thanks Rey and than takes her seat by the time keeper and bell ringer. Than Rey makes his way back to the middle of the ring. Rey looks out into the crowd that is on their feet cheering ecstaticly for him.

Rey raises the microphone.

Rey Rey: "What's up OAKLAND!!!"

The fans cheer in response.

Rey Rey: "That's right. That's what I like to hear and see. People standing on their feet having a great time. It shows that what us superstars do isn't in vain. We produce only top quality matches and it's great that you guys appreciate that. If it weren't for you fans none of us would be here. You make us want to compete. Your cheers make us strive harder to entertain you. You feed off of our energy just as we feed off of yours. Fans are what make us what we are. So I just wanted to come out here and personally thank all of you for coming out to tonights event and I hope you all have a great time."

"Now than. Let's get down to some business. I know I said I came out here tonight to thank you fans, and I did. But I also came out here for another reason. I came out here to talk about tomorrow night. You all know what tomorrow night is right?"

All the fans yell out RAW!!!!! Rey nods his head approvingly.

Rey Rey: "That's right. Tomorrow night is RAW. Tomorrow night is my debut on RAW ever. My whole time in both WWE and DMI I have been on either Smackdown, Velocity, or Afterburn. Tomorrow night marks my first ever Monday night appearance since the downfall of WcW. It's not just any regular debut either. This debut will pretty much decide where I go for the rest of my time in DMI. If I win, I get a shot at Bret the Hitman Hart. If I lose, I walk away with nothing. I probably won't get a title shot for a long time after it if I lose. I will have to work hard and prove myself day in and day out. It's not like I don't do that already, it's just that there will be more pressure on me. And not pressure from you guys, the fans, or pressure from the people in the back. Pressure from myself. Pressure because I will know that I had a great chance to do something spectacular and I goofed it up. I let my pride get the best of me once in this federation and I won't do it again. I used to over look the competition here in the DMI. That was a mistake I realized. The competition was here all along. I just chose not to look hard enough for it. That's a mistake that I can't afford to make again. Trust me, I have learned from the past. That's what I always do. I learn from my mistakes so as not to repeat them. I am sure that I am not the only wrestler in this federation that does that either. After every match I have, I go back. I check the tapes. I watch the match until I know it inside and out. I see what I did wrong. I try to figure out what I should have or could have done instead of what I did. Wrestling is not just a business for me. It's not just a job. It's a way of life. It's been in my blood since I was a baby. Ever since I watched my uncle Rey Mysterio Sr. This business, this LIFE means everything to me. I can't can't do this. Do you understand what that means. It means I need this business. I am a drug addict and my drug of choice is wrestling. That's how much I need this business. In my sleep, I dream about wrestling my next oppenent. I eat, drink, breath, bleed, sweat, sleep this business."

"That is why Sean Micheals won't be able to stop me come tomorrow night. Sean talks about having the heart and determination to become the next champion. He talks about having the heart to become champ. But what Sean doesn't realize is that I have those things too. If not as much as him than just about as close. What seperates me from Sean though is that I live for wrestling and nothing else. I don't care about making guest appearances on shows like Pacific Blue or cutting interviews for Confidential. I am all about being inside this ring and entertaining the fans. Let the other guys go out and make their money in movies and on talk shows and things like that. Me? Just put me in the ring and I am a happy person. I'll bring the fans in my way and let the other guys bring the fans in their ways. Yesterday Sean came out and talked about having the determination about becoming champion. He told everyone about how many chances he's gotten while being here in the DMI. There was one constant every time in his story though. Everytime he had his shot or was close to getting his shot, he choked. He dropped the ball and lost. I'll give him one thing though. Sean never gave up. That's not like Sean to do. That's not like any wrestler to do. We never give up. Sean has come back from each failed attempt and tried harder. The constant still remains though. He fails everytime. Will the same thing happen tomorrow night again? Will Sean drop the ball and lose the match? Only time can tell. I have mixed feelings about that. Because I know Sean is a great guy. I want to see him succeed and finally become the World Champ, but at the same time I don't want him to take a step further up the ladder if I am in the same match as him. So mark your calendars ladies and gentlemen. Tomorrow night. A match for the ages. Rey Mysterio Jr vs. HBK vs. Stone Cold vs. The Franchise for the number one contendership."

Rey Rey drops the microphone and stands in the middle of the ring. He raises his arms up to the crowd and listens to them cheer. He than slides out of the ring from under the bottom rope and walks up the ramp into the backstage area. On his way to his locker room Marc Loyd sees him. Loyd rushes over to Rey and stops him.

> Mark Loyd: "Rey Mysterio. Can I get a word with you for a minute or so?"

Rey shrugs his shoulders.

Rey Rey: "Sure. Why not?"

Mark Loyd: "Great. Now, I was at a monitor and was watching your in ring promotion for tomorrow night. A thing that struck me as odd though was that you only mentioned one oppenent, HBK. Don't you have anything to say about Stone Cold and the Franchise?"

Rey Rey: "Your right. I did forget them. My bad. Well about the Franchise, I really don't see him as a threat. He is more worried about creating his little group and answering every open challenge that is being thrown out. To me, he doesn't seem very concentrated on the match up tomorrow night. So therefore, if he isn't going to be serious about me and the other oppenents, why should I be serious about him? When he gets his act together and starts making some sense, than I will address him with the respect he deserves. Until that time that is all I have to say about him.

Mark Loyd: "And what about Stone Cold?"

Rey rubs his chin while thinking of the right things to say about Stone Cold.

Rey Rey: "Well, like Stone Cold said earlier in the week. He just came off of a divorce with Debra. So I don't think his head is in the game yet. He says he is getting there but I don't know how much of that is actually true. I think though that getting back in the ring and opening a can of whoop ass on someone will do him good. So he is not in his A game as of the moment, but tomorrow night when the lights go down and it's time for the main event. That's when he will be at his A game. He will buckle down and realize what is at stake. Than he will start doing what he does best. He is going to stop a mud hole in someone and walk them dry. I just hope it isn't me. Austin needs to get his mind right. Once his mind is off of Debra and on the match at hand, that's when I'll start to worry. As of now, he poses a threat to me but it's not that big. It's small enough where if I really needed or wanted to I could just eliminate it tomorrow night. But by tomorrow night it will be too late I fear for he will get his head back to where it belongs once that bell rings. Now if you don't mind Marc I need to go get warmed up for my match a little later tonight."

Mark drops the micrphone out from Rey's face and walks away looking for his next victim, I mean interviewee. Rey just shakes his head and continues on to his locker room. Once at it, he opens the door and walks inside. The door closes behind him and he locks the door so as not to be bothered by any unwanted interviewers again. The scene than fades to black.
