Kurt Angle won the Television title on Apr. 13 at WargamesTHE OLYMPIC HERO KURT ANGLE
Television Champion
Apr. 13, 2005 - May 4, 2005

After Buff Bagwell disgracefully and abruptly quit the PWF after No Escape, the Television Championship immediately became vacant. Eric Bischoff would sign a Triple Threat match to crown a new champion the following week on Wargames. Kurt Angle was able to defeat Chris Candido and newcomer Alex Shelley in impressive fashion, giving your Olympic Hero and mine his first taste of PWF gold.

Angle wouldn't have long to celebrate, though, as immediately after his win, a debuting Rob Van Dam would nail the new Television Champion with his devastating 5-Star Frog Splash. From there, the Olympic Hero had no idea exactly how much of an uphill battle he would end up fighting against the Whole F'n Show.
