Over the course of the next month and a half, Greg Mills defended the World Championship against a literal who's who of wrestling. Taz, Chris Benoit, Steve Austin, Jeff Jarrett, Raven, even Sean Gunn stepped up to the plate, and the Master put each and every one of them down. Finally, for the first time, the SCW and NOWF World Champions were put up against each other in a title versus title match, with the pride and prestige of both promotions on the line. Del Wilkes and Greg Mills battled in a truly epic Cage match that became a Falls Count Anywhere contest when the cage collapsed, fighting into the backstage area and setting off a brawl between the NOWF's various factions in what must have looked like an all-out gang war. At the end of the match, both men were completely exhausted, and indeed they both collapsed, unconscious. Unfortunately for Mills and the NOWF, Wilkes collapsed on top of him, and won the match.
