The NOWF shut down for a time, and upon returning, it was time for a new champion to be crowned. Greg Mills had seized power in the interim period between NOWF activity, and he put together a battle royal for the World Championship. This battle royal was amazingly won by longtime NOWF superstar Venom, who had mostly been known for his tag team success in No Limit.
