Edge and Christian would square off with the Acolytes, Kronic, and the Natural Born Thrillers in a Tag Team Turmoil Match at Power Trip to determine the HWA's first Tag Team Champions. Unfortunately for the Acolytes, they drew No. 1. After defeating Kronic impressively and giving the Thrillers all they could handle, Edge and Christian hit ringside, annihilating the Thrillers, enabling the APA to pick up the pin. Immediately after that, Edge would lift a weary Faarooq and drop him with an Impaler, scoring the ultra-quick victory. A match was later signed for the Acolytes to get their chance at Edge and Christian, but it never took place, leaving many HWA followers wondering what would've happened had these two teams faced off in a two-on-two setting.
