BIO:

Not much is known about the e-fed wrestling superstar Nightmare, except for what he thinks we need to know and his past and current accomplishments in wrestling. A master of mind games and playing on people's fears, it is said once you have faced Nightmare, you are never truly the same. Nightmare possesses all around skill and takes the fight to his opponent in many ways. It is rumored about 6 years ago he survived Stu Hart's infamous dungeon in Calgary, Alberta and harsh physical training from Terry Funk at Dory Funk Jr's "Funking Dojo". There have been other unsubstantiated reports that a masked man known as "The Dream Master" was active in Japan around this time. Many are speculating that this worker was Nightmare undergoing some more training in the Japanese style of wrestling. When asked, Nightmare denies it but is all smiles.

The year was 1998 and a wrestler under a mask arrived in the now closed OHY. The OH Hell Yeah Federation was built around hardcore and extreme types of matches and had a devoted followng despite a small roster and small financial backing. After a two week rampage, Nightmare won the OHY Six Man Tag Team Championsip as well as the OHY Hardcore Championsip. Events for the federation became few and far between, so when the offer from a rival federation arrived at his door, Nightmare took it and left the OHY before it folded.

Life in the new federation in 1998, the Simulated Wrestking Federation, was good to Nightmare. The President said he had the look and ability to be a huge star. Arriving at the SWF's third pay per view, Nightmare emerged from the crowd and took out Billy Gunn, who was a member of "The New Horsemen". This group consisted of SWF World Champion Ric Flair, SWF Internet Champion Buff Bagwell, Billy Gunn and Sid Viscious. The stable was running rampant through the SWF and Nightmare took it as a challenge to stop them. In the upcoming weeks he defeated Sid Viscious and was presented with a match against Bagwell for the Internet title. In a 20 minute match, Nightmare took Bagwell apart and walked away with the SWF Internet Title. Nightmare defended the title for two months without suffering defeat which he then used as leverage to challenge "The Nature Boy" for the World title. At the biggest pay per view on the SWF calendar, Nightmare faced Ric Flair for the World Title inside a Hell In A Cell. After a 40 minute marathon, Nightmare powerbombed a bloody Flair through the top of the cell to win the match and the title. At the following television taping, Nightmare surrended the Internet title and started a month and a half of defenses. He was finally defeated by Randy Savage, for the World title, and beaten down by The Horsemen. His injuries were grave and he disappeared from wrestling for 6 months. During that time, Ric Flair gained control of the federation and fired Nightmare.

In 1999, weeks of rumors and speculation ended when Nightmare returned to the ring in the now defunct Canadian Wresling Association. He immediately was targeted by "The Warriors." This group consisted of native americans who felt Nightmare was the exact type of person who has held them back. A bloody month long feud ended when Nightmare defeated the group's leader Chief Thunder Wolf in a barb wire rope match for the CWA Canadian Title which was the second most prestigious title in the organization. The federation then closed two months later as Nightmare was slated to wrestle for the World Title.

During the SWF's April pay per view in 2000, Nightmare emerged from under the ring, without a mask but with his now trademark white and black make-up and aided Vince MacMahon in defeating Ric Flair for control of the SWF. Jim Ross could not believe the fan favorite aided the evil MacMahon, and was the first to label him "The Fallen Angel." Nightmare became Vince's "go to" guy but just as a world title shot was shaping up, the SWF was sold by MacMahon to another promoter who closed the federation down and took it's stars. Nightmare decided to take a break from wrestling at this point.

The CWF was just re-opening in 2002 after having been closed down for a few months and Nightmare jumped at the chance to join the federation after his two year exile from the squared circle. The federation was closed shortly after but Nightmare's feud with Lee Blades was a highpoint for the CWF, he won the CWF X-treme title a few weeks before the CWF was closed for good.

World Wide Web Championship Wrestling came knocking in late May 2003. Signing a deal with the federation that just re-launched after a long period of down time. Nightmare was victorious over WWWCW star Zen, after failing to progress in a tournament to crown the WWWCW World Champion by losing to his future tag team partner The Tempest, for the WWWCW North American Title. Then, just recently on April 29th, Nightmare lost the North American title to Zen. As his WWWCW career progressed, Nightmare joined the Project Revolution stable with The Tempest, The Judge and Lazareus. Teaming with The Judge, Nightmare won his second major title in WWWCW as The Judge and The Fallen Angel defeated The Cali Connection at Clash Of The Champions III, but the reign would last just 11 days as they dropped the titles to Hot Commodity on Nitro. Then out of nowhere WWWCW owner Markus Maltby shocked everyone as he hand picked Nightmare to face the WWWCW World champion and Hall Of Famer Gravedigger for the World title. Nightmare was in top form and using his mind games seemed to have a major upper hand over Digger. However, on the day of the match WWWCW closed it's doors.
