The Over-Killed Publicity Stunt

I'm sure that it has recently come to everyone's attention that Pamela Anderson has contracted a disease as dirty as herself. This is all fun and games until it makes the news. I don't know about anyone else, but I found it somewhat disturbing that this kind of story was being broadcasted, when there are more important matters in the world to worry about instead of Pamela Anderson and her Hepatitis C. But aside from that opinion, I still could not resist giving my input on this story.
Pamela Anderson has accused Tommy Lee of infecting her. This, to me was amusing. It was pretty funny how she and Tommy Lee have been separated for such a long time and she finally discovered the disease. Aside from that, the radios have killed this story as much as they spoil good music by overplaying it. However, one DJ on 102.1 explained the story and also brought up a good point. Apparently Pam and Tommy are going through a custody battle over their son, and this is her way of getting back at him. Pamela Anderson is now involved with Kid Rock and according to the DJ on 102.1, "Kid Rock isn't exactly antiseptically clean either". I couldn't have stated it better myself. I am not by any means defending Tommy Lee or slandering Kid Rock. I have no problems with Kid Rock. I like his music and his character as well, but I must admit, he's not the purest creature on the planet. He is honest and actually admits in one particular song, "I'm straight out of Competon, I'm straight out the trailer". This line is an exerpt from the song COWBOY. This is one line in that song that I will never forget. After hearing a statement like that, different conclusions on this story could definitely be drawn. But still, one thing remains for certain, these are definitely three distinguished individuals who always seem to obtain publicity when they proove, yet again, that they cannot be taken seriously and are always viewed in a less than discreet manner by most as a result. When will they ever learn?
