Well for starters I have to give credit where credit is due, I think M.D. has put into words exactly how each and everyone of us feels. Nothing felt real on the day that it happened. It was like watching something exactly out of a movie. I know for myself, I saw the whole thing right from the beginning. I was awake for some reason and as it was playing I kinda shrugged it off at first saying ah well, this stuff happens all the time, but then I found myself glued to the television to watch the horror that was unravelling before my eyes. As I delve below to figure out exactly how I feel I try to understand exactly what every person who has lost a loved one in this tragic event is going through.
M.D. is totally right in saying this Nostradamus stuff is crap, because for one I do not believe in prophecies and I don't think that a vision from that long ago will come to pass.
I do not think that saying these people that perpetrated these acts are cowards can even come close to what they really are. They are beyond cowards and do deserve to be brought to justice but once again like M.D. said, after everything else is taken care of, such as the victims and their families and the cleanup. Retribution can wait. My views on the whole situation may be different from one of your views on the situation but I know that we are all praying for everyone in the U.S. right now and hope that by doing so we can spread some light to their otherwise darkened days. I don't know what it is like to lose a loved one in such a horrific manner and I can't even start to imagine what these people are feeling, my heart and prayers truly do go out to them.
Some people decide to go on with their perverse mockery of war such as Vince McMahon of the WWF when deciding to air a show when the real war is right outside the New York City windows, and no I didn't think that I had to bring something like wrestling into this but Vince decided to do something that could have waited just so he could add some extra cash to his pocket. Yes we do have to try to pick up the pieces and go on with our lives but for one week I am sure it could have waited.
I was totally disgusted to see the people of Jerusalem celebrate when they heard of the attacks on the U.S. but I may not be saying that if I was in their shoes. The U.S. do have policies in the middle east but it is for both their and our protection, it makes me sick to my stomach to see people celebrating over innocent people losing their lives. If you have ever read the holy Koran it does state that if you do kill someone that is not Islamic or something to that effect you will go to heaven. There were 2 Iraqi kids that were suspended this week at Don Bosco for saying that the United States deserved this. I don't think that 1000's of innocent people deserved to die and I believe Don Bosco did the right thing in suspending these kids. I am not blaming all Islamizes or Iraqi's but when you say things like that or you jump for joy at someone else's expense you do deserve what you have coming, and I am not saying to kill more innocent people but that is a price you are going to pay when you declare war on someone.
This cannot be forgotten, this should not be forgotten and this well never be forgotten. We will not live our lives in fear. Americas hearts have been wounded but her heart shines as a beacon of freedom, a freedom which will never be extinguished. The Americans will grow stronger as a country for this.
Although I am not one of the holiest people in the world I know that the people if the United States really need our prayers at this time. This prayer doesn't exactly correspond with is because we are not American but I fully stand by the American's in anything they choose to do, and think that this is a good prayer for us to pray.
I probably could have come up with something better except M.D took the words, not just out of mine but I am sure out of all of your mouths as well. What M.D. wrote was absolutely brilliant and he hit the nail right on the head by writing this e-mail. I hope that other people can respond and say how they feel about this whole thing as well. Thank you for reading this, I know it was long but I thought I should back M.D up on what he said and also get out what I had to say.
