Raw Rant for May 6th, 2002
Well there is no longer a WWF is now known as the WWE....Whatever. Their new Get the F Out campaign has started. Who really cares, they are still going to put on the same crap as they have been for the past year and a half! Hey JR keeps referring to WWF being dead and WWE being born, why the hell is he wearing a WWF logo on his shirt? Good God JR!!!!
Raw begins with my favourite type of match.....a women's match!
Trish vs Jazz
Once again I am not saying anything abou this match except for giving it a rating. Steven Richards hits a Steven kickon Trish and Jazz gets the win. 1* Impromptu garbage....I mean hardcore match and Bubba hits his Bubba bomb to regain the hardcore title. Out comes Raven and hits the DDT and wins the hardcore title, out comes Credible and he wins the hardcore title, out comes Crash and he wins the hardcore title Bubba nails Crash with a trash can lid and Trish covers him and wins the title, Bubba puts Trish through the table after being blinded by the fire extinguisher courtesy of Jazz. Richards covers Trish to regain the hardcore title. What is the point of all this crap? Just hurry up and kill the Hardcore title already, it is a total joke.
Man I should be watching the Leafs game, screw this crap!
The nWo make their way to the ring to cut a promo. They replay footage from two weeks ago....This is so boring! Shows rambles on way too long! Out comes Flair to announce the same match he announced last week. Hall gets on the mic and says they have a surprise that will shock the wrestling world. Oh yeah!
Spike vs Regal
Spike has a fake ankle injury so Regal asks him to forfeit the title but Spike has way too much heart to do that so Regal works over the ankle and Spike submits. Totally no point to this match. DUD. Regal attacks Spike following the match until D-Lo Brown? makes the save. Absolutely no crowd reaction.
Booker T enters a convenience store looking for Goldust and he buys a slurpee and Goldust is in disguise wearing a Spreewell Jersey and a backwards baseball cap, but still all of his makeup and gold costume underneath so no one would be able to tell it was him.
Brock vs Stasiak
Oh goody the same match as last week. Nice hair Stasiak. Brock manhandles Stasiak for a while and then hits the move with no name and finally gets a pinfall victory. Where's Goldberg when you need him? DUD.
Takers bike goes missing backstage and apparantly Hogan took it, wow the huge babyface has become a thief!
Out comes Taker, actually it is Hogan on Taker's bike. Hogan plays the crowd forever. Hogan calls out Taker so he comes out. They argue about the bike for a bit and Hogan tries to ride the bike up the ramp but it stalls like 3 times....funny stuff, now that is ratings!
Hogan teases to run Takers bike over with a conveniently parked 18 wheeler backstage, but the WWE finds it necessary to cut to commercial. Ok back from commercial, Hogan finally runs over Taker's bike. Don't worry that bike will be back next week without a scratch, I mean HHH was wasn't he?
RVD & Jeff Hardy vs Eddy Guerrero & Booker
Where the hell did these pairings come from? Did I miss something? RVD and Eddy start. Leg trip, pop up by RVD. Leg sweep by RVD. RVD with the splits and hits a monkey flip. Sidekick by RVD followed by an unorthodox move. Tag to Booker. Punches and chops in the corner by RVD. Tag to Jeff. Oh there is the phone, gotta take this call now! Sorry I couldn't call the rest of the match, but do you really care?
Swimsuit match between Molly and Terri. Wow just a big filler spot! No point cuz Terri is gross anyway.
nWo vs Austin & Bradshaw & Flair
Everyone but Austin make their way to the ring and they cut to the back and Nash walks out of a limo and they cut to commercial. This is starting to remind me of WCW when they would cut to commercial during matches. Out comes Austin. Bradshaw and X-Pac set to start but Austin tags hmself in. Shoulder block by Austin. Spinebuster by Austin to Hall and X-Pac. Well I am not going to go on with the whole set of moves that happen in this match because in my opinion it went on waaaaaaaay too long. I will cut to the chase. Flair grabs a chair outside the ring and Austin and Show are in the ring. Austin lowblows Show and delivers a stunner and turns around and Flair nails him with a chair for a no finish match. Raw goes off the air with Flair giving Austin the figure four, and announcing that at Judgement Day it will be Austin vs Flair & Show.
Raw is really starting to get on my nerves. How can they continue to market this crap and believe that is will increase ratings? Since it is Tuesday right now I already know that Scott Hall has been released. What will happen to the nWo now? Will they disband? Will Nash follow Hall out of the WWF? Tune in next week, same time, same channel........actually.........on second thought..........don't! You will probably be just as bored as I am.
Until Next Time......I am The Net Detective
