I received an e-mail recently from someone dubbed "Tazz" which basically derided my wrestler of the year, Triple H. I've heard of this Tazz character on WWF television, word is he was once an ECW wrestler who signed on with the WWF to become a co-host (meaning having to share the spotlight with Michael 'fag' Cole) for the WWF's b-show, Sunday Night crap-o-rama. Anyway here's Cactus jaCko's take.
Tazz: HHH is the Shane Douglas of 1995. He has the long hair, the dumbass fake beard, and a broad by his side, although Shane Douglas' broad is way better. You know you are shit when you copy the image of Shane Douglas.
Tazz : HHH has mediocre mic skills just like Douglas, plus they are both crap in the ring.
Jacko: Huh? Well I agree that Shane Douglas is garbage, the same cannot be said of Triple H. Triple H has had at least three five star PPV matches this year. He has also carried Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit to good four star PPV matches. The Pedigree is the deadliest finisher in the business. The Cactus Jack, Rock, Too Cool and Rikishi vs X-Pac, Chris Benoit, Triple H, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn was probably the best free Tv main event of the year.
Jacko : HHH's interviews have been the shiny part of normally tepid and boring drole Raws. He is one of the best interviews in the sport.
Tazz: Most Humiliating Defeat - Got beat by the Brooklyn Brawler in the year 2000. If HHH had any self respect, he would have retired the night he lost and never shown his face in public again.
Jacko: Honestly, does any WWF fan even remember that? I'm sure losing to Jerry Lawler at the second biggest WWF PPV of the year is far more humiliating.
Tazz: Most Selfish Human - HHH. Anyone that enters the fed HHH has to be first in line to beat them. Tazz, Benoit, Jericho, Angle and the list goes on. What does HHH have to gain by beating this guys instead of putting them over? Nothing! I guess it helps when you are a part of the booking committee. I bet if Lynn or RVD come into the fed he will be the first to want to beat them. How selfish can one guy get?
Jacko: Uh, actually I'd give that honor to Chris Benoit. If you look at who has been in the most free tv matches this year, you'd see Chris Benoit's name. He has the most television wins this year. And if he loses, he is protected by DQ's or run ins. That is selfish.
Tazz: Since HHH has his nose so far up Vince's ass he made himself a God. Who the hell comes back a week later after being crushed in a car, when any normal human would have been killed.
Jacko: Uh, Bret wrestling is worked. You have to suspend your disbelief when you watch wrestling. Plus HHH's return was probably one of the greatest WWF television moments of the year. (I'd give the honour to Cactus Jack's promo the SmackDown! before No Way Out. Fuck that was awesome.) When he beat the hell out of Steve Austin this year, you'd have to agree that it was a great moment.
