Raw Rant for April 15th

Out comes Ric Flair to start off Raw and he apologizes for coming out first and not allowing his "talent" to wrestle first. Flair says he doesn't want to go to war with Austin and that he busted his ass to give the fans what they wanted. Is anyone else getting tired of seeing Flair talk so much? Flair likes Austin and wants to make their relationship work. Just in case we forgot they show the footage of Flair being stunned last week. Out comes Austin. Flair cuts off Austin in the middle of going to all four corners. Flair fines Austin $5,000! Wow! What is this the NBA? Austin gets a mic and speaks about Scott Hall or Razor RAYMONE. Austin tells Flair he put his nose in his business so he stunned him, big deal. Austin says he is gonna whip the Undertaker's ass at Backlash. Obviously Taker is backstage listening and isn't too pleased with this so he makes his way to the ring. Taker tells Austin to focus on Backlash and also informs Austin that he will win at Backlash. Taker tells Austin that he needs Flair's help. Both men say they will kick Flair's ass if he gets involved. Flair makes himself the special referee for that match....ohhhh I don't see a screwjob ending to that match happening. Out come the nWo. X-Pac is walking like he weighs 300 lbs. What's up with that? Hall wants a rematch against Austin tonight but Flair says to take the W out of nWo and you have your answer. How smart is Flair? Out comes Bradshaw. Austin and Bradshaw clean house and Flair is livid on the outside of the ring. Holy overbooking Batman.
Bubba Ray Dudley vs Raven
Raven should get rid of that stupid shopping cart. Hip toss and body slam by Bubba. Trash can lid to the head by Bubba. Road sign to the head by Raven. Clothesline by Raven. Stop sign is used on Bubba who then falls face first onto a trash can. Neckbreaker by Bubba. Punches and a clothesline. Flapjack and elbows by Bubba who then proceeds to dance...ugh! Bubba goes to get the table but Raven drop kicks it into his face. Raven throws Bubba back in the ring and hits the Raven effect and gets the three and there is a new hardcore champ, but wait a minute there's Tommy Dreamer and he hits the Spicolli Driver and gets the three and there is a new hardcore champion, but wait a minute there is Steven Richards and he hits the Steven kick and gets the three and there is a new hardcore champion, wait a minute Bubba is back to his feet and somehow got a guitar from somewhere and clocks Steven with it and regains the Hardcore title. They have already made a mockery of this division so why not just trash this stupid belt. Totally overbooked ending and way to much garbage in this match for my liking. DUD
Shawn Stasiak is backstage and challenges Big Show to a match and rhymes off a whole bunch of stuff. Maybe he should die, then we could say goodbye and he'll fly up to the sky.......Jesus! And what the hell is Planet Stasiak?
Stasiak vs Show
Bunch of reversals for Show on Stasiak. Stasiak takes Show down at the legs and kicks his quad. Show gets up and throws him around then clotheslines him and kicks him and chokeslams him and gets the three. What the hell are the point of these 2 minute matches with Show? I know he can't last much longer than that but these matches serve no purpose......kinda like the Show. DUD
Backstage Guerrero says RVD stole his frogsplash and he will beat him at Backlash. Good to see Eddy mad at RVD stealing the frogsplash and not concerned with the IC title!
Booker is backstage and Goldust interrupts and tells Booker he sees a star. Booker and Goldie tag tonight.
Debra is getting coffee backstage and Taker approaches but Debra spills coffee or ice tea on him and Taker looks pissed.....oh oh! Ah well. There is way to much of this backstage filler crap going on here.
Clips of the Rock on SNL are shown. Hey isn't the Rock supposed to be on Smackdown!? I don't know just a thought!
Crash vs Jackie
What's with this series of matches? This isn't even worth writing about. Jackie wins. Nice 30 second match.....not!
Spike & RVD vs Guerrero & Regal
of course the champs come out first. Regal and Eddy double team RVD. Backdrop and spin heel kick on Regal by RVD. Stepover heel kick by RVD. Monkeyflip and a tag to Spike. Regal tags in Eddy. Neckbreaker by Spike. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker by Guerrero and a tag to Regal. Half Nelson suplex by Regal (which by the way should become his finisher) and Guerrero attacks Spike on the outside. Tag to Eddy. Eddy nails RVD. Double team on Spike in the corner. Tag to Regal. Spike with a cross body. Regal chops away on Spike. Battery Ram by Spike. Hurricurana by Spike on Regal. Tag to RVD. Rolling Thunder on Regal. Kick from the top on Regal and RVD hits a split legged moonsault. High cross body by RVD. Eddy interfere's and hits a neckbreaker. Tag to Spike. Tag to Eddy. Back body drop to Spike. Guerrero hits a brainbuster and a frog splash on Spike for the win. After the match RVD hits a nice looking dropkick on Guerrero. 2*. Entertaining match at times.
Oh yeah a women's matchup tonight!!!
Molly Virgin vs Trish
The winners of this match get a shot at Jazz at Backlash. Big Deal! Trish screams alot in the ring. Maybe they should team her up with Albert and they could call themselves T & A....wait a minute, that would never work, forget it! Trish wins by reversing a rollup....who cares!
Again a lot of backstage filer crap that just kills time.
Hardyz vs Booker & Goldust
Nice thrown together tag team. Hey why the hell are the Hardyz a team, what is their goal now on Raw? Anyway, all four men in the ring to start. Clothesline by Goldust on Matt followed by the Killer Bee Stinger. Tag to Booker. Booker stomps away on Matt. Matt with some stupid looking move. Both men get a tag. Jeff with a bunch of unorthodox moves. Twist of Fate on Goldust. Swanton on Goldust. Booker interferes and hits a Harlem Side Kick on Jeff and Goldust makes the cover and gets the three. Heyman is on the stage with Lita's bag and all her thongs. Brock comes out and he and Lesnar go at it and he hits his finisher on Matt on the stage which could have killed him but who really cares. Jeff scares Brock with a chair. DUD
Jesus that is 4 DUD matches already. Raw is really lacking!
Out comes Triple H to talk to JR. Why is he pouring water over his head, he isn't wrestling! In a nutshell, Triple H is the game and he is that damn good and he is going to whip Hogan's ass at Backlash.
nWo & Taker vs Bradshaw & Austin
All five start off. Taker and Austin in the ring. Flying clothesline by Taker. Clothesline in the corner by Taker. Lou Thesz press and the Badass elbow by Austin. Attempted Stunner but Taker backs away. Austin flips off Taker. X-Pac tagged in. Back kick by X-Pac, spinebuster on X-Pac and Hall. Tag to Bradshaw. Back Suplex on X-Pac. Spin Heel kick by X-Pac and a tag to Hall. Clubbing Hammer to Hall by Bradshaw. Tag to Austin. Chops to Hall. Fallaway slam by Hall. Taker hammers Austin outside and Bradshaw nails X-Pac. Austin and Hall in the ring now. Running clothesline by Hall. Tag to X-Pac. Clothesline by X-Pac. Tag to Hall. Double clothesline by Hall & Austin. Tag to X-Pac and tag to Bradshaw. Fallaway slam on X-Pac. Clothesline from Hell on Taker and Hall and a slam on X-Pac but wait Taker is up already. Taker & Austin fight on the outside and Bradshaw hits a clothesline from Hell on X-Pac and gets the three count. nWo attack Bradshaw following the match and Taker and Austin fight on the outside. 1 1/2*.
Well Raw turns out another horrible show. They are going to have to do something drastic pretty soon to keep my interet.
