Just one week before Road To Glory, the SIW presented a great Monday Night Brawl show at a jammed packed Fleet Center in Boston. The main event featured the SIW World Champion Matt Uzi teaming up with the current SIW Hardcore champion and former t.W.o partner Grunge as they took on their RTG opponents, The Deadly Alliance, Renegade and the SIW North American Champion Enigma.
MNB kicked off with the SIW World Champion Matt Uzi coming to the ring for his special press conference that was hosted by Jimmy Hayden. He made a few interesting statements, including that if he didn't walk out with the title at Road To Glory, the SIW would never see the "New Era" ever again. Grunge came out and they both called out the DA. All hell broke loose but Chief of Security Polar and his crew broke up all the chaos in the ring.
The sold out crowd at the Fleet Center jumped to their feet when the current SIW Women's champion Olivia Danger and H-Bomb made their entrance. They took on Liana Lewis and Anck Su Namun in a Diva Tag Match. The champion Olivia and H showed tremendous teamwork which eventually paid off in the end as they defeated the newcommers after Olivia pinned Anck.
After a commercial break, Titan came out with two presents and called out both Sinflair and Angelica. Titan told the Boston crowd that he didn't know what his sexual preference was! Angelica and Sinflair argued about their sexual views and Titan simply gave them a gift. Sinflair received two official Titan© stress balls from the SIW shopzone. Sinflair was happy and gave one to Romoan. Angelica on the other hand was handed an engagement ring. Sinflair and Romoan were disappointed at Titan sexual direction but Angelica was left speechless. She told Titan that she would think about it.
After the TrevorTron showed a video package for Damballah the new voodoo priest that will be debuting in 2005, the second match went under way. The SIW European championship was up for grabs as the champion Russel McPiledriverton took on Terror Soule. Rikki was supposed to be the time keeper but never showed up. Russel had the match in his favor until he missed a closeline and got hit with a spine buster. Terror climbed the top rope but then missed his flying headbutt when Russ moved out of the way. The match was called a double DQ when the the official time keeper took off a prosthetic mask and it turned out to be Rikki. Cook took the ring bell and leveled both competitors busting them wide open just six days before Road To Glory
Backstage, Steven Insane was looking for Titan and/or the SIW Lightweight Champion Sinflair! Insane then threatened Greg Banks and beat him up. Insane then continued his search until he came face to face with the seven foot giant. The got into an altercation but Polar was quick on the scene to break up the fight. Sinflair then jumped Insane from behind and all hell broke loose. It took tons of security and officials to stop the three superstars.
After a few words from The Deadly Alliance, the announcer introduced the next competitors with the winner facing the SIW's Women's champion on Carnage. Rebecca played the crowd and was greeted by "HLA" chants. Alex Andrews executed a superplex off the top rope and then locked her in a Figure Four but Regina reached the ropes. Alex Andrews won the match after executing her patented 4:19. Alex Andrews will be fighting Olivia next Thursday on Carnage.
Polar was backstage sniffing around the I-9 locker room. He smelled weed and other illegal substances. He pounded on the door but they refused to answer. He then told them that the was seizing 50% of their next pay cheque.
Glenn Kirby was backstage dressed in a 5000$ tuxedo supplied by the SIW. He talked about getting his sister Shelby Kirby back and that he hated his RTG tag partner Jonathan Rico and Rated X with a passion. Sinflair then appeared and wore a tuxedo that had nothing covering his rear end. Romoan touched Kirby unpleasantly and the A.O.A punched him in the face and Sinflair then attacked him
They fought all the way to ringside and the first ever tuxedo match went under way. As Sinflair was about to strip Kirby of his tuxedo, Steven Insane came from the crowd and distracted the referee. From behind, Glenn Kirby hit Sinflair with the Thug Bug and then put on a pair of rubber gloves to take off Sinflair's clothes. At the end of the match, Olivia and H-Bomb celebrated in the ring with Kirby but Steven Insane gave Sinflair a beating. The Crew simply walked away and didn't help the Lightweight champ. Titan saved the day once again. Paramedics were needed for both a half naked Sinflair and Steven Insane who was chokeslammed through the Spanish table.
Bad Breed, Phillip Arceneaux and Brandon Clayborn were in the ring interacting with the crowd waiting for their opponents, the SIW Tag Team champs to come out for their non-title match. Bernardo eventually came out dressed as an elf and accompanied by Santa Clause. Bernardo told Bad Breed that Rated X couldn't make it cause of a snow storm but he wanted to keep the x-mas spirit alive. He pulled out the Tag Team titles out of Santa's bag and gave them to Clayborn and Arceneaux. At that point, Ringo and Primetime came out form the crowd and leveled Bad Breed with candy cane decorated crow bars. Bernardo put a table in the ring and Santa pulled off his beard and it turned out that Santa was Jonathan Rico. Primetime and Ringo held Bradon and Rico hit him off the top rope with a missile drop kick. Then Rated X placed Philip on the table and Ringo destroyed him with the Ringo Rocket. Paramedics rushed to ringside to tend to Bad Breed. The referee called the match a no contest as the Rated X walked back up the entrance ramp.
Brain "Inferno" Cross was talking with old man Seaman backstage. Seaman was trying to teach Brian Cross special old school wrestling moves. Brian pretended that he didn't know any of them. Andrew told him that he wad better watch his ass at RTG. At that moment, Slick Willy walked by and got into a stare down with the former SIW World champion. Andrew assured Willy that he would beat Inferno with ease at Road To Glory and then he will go on to become the new SIW champion.
During the main event, SIW's official nurse Jenny Kox introduced the competitors. Grunge and Uzi told Boston that the Red Sox were a shit team that got lucky. Then they laughed at the fact that Pedro Martinez left the team to join the Mets. Chastity and Katie Mysfit ended up taking out Saydst after hitting her with a double suplex on the entrance ramp. Uzi and Enigma beat each other in the ring like nothing else in the world mattered. The Renegade pulled out a barbed wire steel chair out of the ring and used it on Grunge's lower back and across his chest. Renegade then hit Grunge with a Slam Jam DDT on the chair. Katie nailed Enigma with a low blow and the referee had enough and disqualified Uzi and Grunge. At the end of the match, Uzi nailed Renegade with the World title knocking him out cold and then broke the barbed wire steel chair over Enigma's head. Katie and Chastity threw in another chair and Uzi put it around Enigma's ankle and jumped on it from the top rope. MNB came to an end as security and paramedics rushed to ringside. Uzi and the girls helped out Grunge out of the building.
