Finaly the wait was over at a sold out Fedex Forum in Memphis Tennessee as the SIW presented their inaugural Monday Night Brawl show. The event started with SIW CEO Trevor Derickson making his way to ringside as he thanked everyone including the fans, staff, family but most of all every SIW Superstars on the roster for making everything possible.
Toxic Waste vs. Titan
The arena goes black and then lights up to Toxic Waste's music. The crowd gave him a decent pop as he walked past the burial ground near the entrance ramp which was all ready and set for the main event. Then the fans are introduced to an old face that they know realy well "The Unbeleivable" Titan. Toxic Waste looked small at 6'5" face to face with the big man.
Soon after the bell rang, Toxic Waste punched Titan right in the face but had no effect! Titan simply laughed it off and nailed him with a big boot to the face followed by a chokeslam. The crowd kinda gasped at the thought of Titan just squashing Toxic but he kicked out after Titan tried for the pin. The match continuing to be in Titan's favor took a drastic turn when Toxic nailed the big guy with an European Uppercut. After failing to throw Titan is the corner and getting clotheslined, Crazy Pete then walks slowly down the ramp.
As Titan is dominating Toxic and going for his finisher Crazy Pete come close to the ring. With the referee and Titan occupied by Pete, Toxic goes under the ring and gets Twiggy his 2X4! As the referee is trying to get rid of Crazy Pete Toxic Waste nails Titan over the head with Twiggy and the big man falls hard face first. Toxic thought no one saw his actions but the referee did and called a disqualification and gave Titan the win. After the match Titan is furious and Toxic Waste gets out of the ring as fast as he can. Titan then grabs the mic and declares that Toxic Waste and Crazy Pete will have hell to pay.
The Show Stoppa In SIW
The Show Stoppa arrives at the arena. Shaking off the butterflies he gathers his stuff and heads through the backstage area meeting everyone for the first time. He walks down the halls, trying to find his locker room. He knows there is a slight chance of him fighting tonight, but he is glad to have been giving the shot to be there so he is happy. As he finally makes it to his locker room, someone is waiting for him. He begins to worry he may be getting sent back down.....
Greg Banks: Show Stoppa, i'm Greg Banks, Monday Night Brawl interviewer and I was wondering if I could get a few words with you?
Show Stoppa: Sure...
Banks: How are you feeling, here on your first night in SIW?
Show Stoppa: I feel great, I just can't wait to get into that ring and give these great fans a show. I have been waiting for this moment my whole life. It is almost unreal!!!
Banks: Your not on the card tonight, what brings you here?
Show Stoppa: I have a meeting with SIW management to make some decisions. With Brian Bane out of the company that leaves one spot open in the Tournament, and thats where I come in.
Banks: Thanks for your time Show, and I hope everything goes well in the meeting.
Show Stoppa: Thanks Greg we'll see you around I guarantee.....
A-Bomb vs Latesha vs Katie Mysfit
The timekeeper is given the SIW Women's title by a staff member as the three-way women's match went under way. Announcer Travis Dunns pulls out a comb and brushes his hair as Katie, A-Bomb and Latesha make their way to the ring but it seems like the women weren't interested in Dunns!!
Seven year veteran Latesha starts the match slaping A-Bomb right in the face and nailing her with a rocker dropper. Katie seemed amused by this and joined in kicking A-Bomb in the ribs in the corner. The referee trying to stop the gang-up on A-Bomb gets wacked and knocked out! Just when it seemed Latesha and Katie were working together, Katie dropkicks her and executes a snaping suplex followed by a running legdrop.
A-Bomb recovers and goes one on one with Katie while Latesha is on the outside feeling the effects of Katie's snaping suplex and legdrop. Still no ref, we hear "Blackball" by The Offspring and the crowd stands up and give former SIW champion Matt Uzi a standing ovation as his Hummer-Limo stays at the top of the ramp. All three competitors are back in action but A-Bomb and Latesha don't like the fact that Katie's crush is at ring side. The match continues but then Uzi sticks his nose in the match. He trips A-Bomb at the ropes resulting in Latasha picking her up and nailing her with a neck breaker. Katie pulls out a nylon from her tights and starts to choke Latesha. Matt still trying to give Katie the win but gets a big surprise! As he's yelling at Latesha "The Gothic Goddess" Summer Andrews sneaks in from the crowd and kicks Uzi right in the testicles! The referee wakes up seeing Katie choking Latesha and then calls for the bell. The match is ruled a disqualification. The girls seem pissed of at the decision cause they thought the title would be won at the inaugural Brawl.
Trevor Derickson comes back to ringside and announces the match will continue, but only between A-Bomb and Latesha! And if he seen Uzi, Katie or Summer during this match they would all be suspended. Katie leaves with Matt in the Limo and right away A-Bomb strikes Latesha with an elbow to the face. After an irish whip to the corner Latesha counters with a boot to the face. The match finaly came to an end when Latesha somehow got out of the A-Bomb Drop and executed a perfect Hell's Message to win the SIW Women's title. After the match The Outlaws Firestorm, Terror Soule and Latesha celebrated in the ring.
Hummer-Limo Scene
Matt Uzi is extremely upset that he has swollen testicles as a result of Summer's kick. He tells Katie to kick her ass as soon as possible! He complains about the painful testicles again as Katie offers to make them feel better as the TrevorTron fades to black.
SIW Hardcore Championship
Crazy Pete vs Angel
One of the most anticipated matches was next with the SIW Hardcore Championship on the line between Crazy Pete and Angel. The fans already knew Pete from the begining bout in which he played a role in Titan's loss. Angel made his debut as he came out with his guitar "Pugatory" and he got a good response. The fans liked the idea of purifying evil.
Crazy Pete wasen't intimidated at all as he struck first. He grappled Angel and put him a devastating full nelson. After breaking out Angel nailed him with some kicks to the corner and then whipped Pete to the other turnbuckle.
After a couple a trademark moves by Crazy Pete such as his powerbomb off the top rop and tornado DDT the Hardcore title seemed won but Pete only got the two count. Angel strikes back and takes it to the outside. the match gets real bloody after Angel slammed Pete's face in the announcer's table. Travis Dunns thanks Angel sarcasticly for the blood on his new SIW jacket but Angel dosen't seem to care. They fight till they make it backstage and Crazy Pete's size come in to factor as he starts dominating the match. He takes Angel back to ring side only to be drop kicked and set up for The Judgement submission. Pete almost tapped out on the ramp but somehow he kicked out. Not many people have kicked out of The Judgement before. Angel grabed Purgatory and swung but missed Pete's head as he ducked smashing it on the railing. Pete punched him in the mouth as Angel fell to ground. Crazy Pete had the match basicly won when all of a sudden we seen Titan with a bandage over his head run to ringside. Titan and Pete get into a wild Brawl and Titan ends it with a Running Tombstone Piledriver on the cement floor. As Titan leaves to go backstage Angel wasen't sure what happen but all he knew is he had to pin Crazy Pete to win the Hardcore title. EMT's arrive at the scene to check out Pete's neck condition. Even the new SIW Hardcore Champion Angel seemed quite concerned.
Titan Backstage Interview with Greg Banks
Titan: Banks all of a sudden your on TV and you think you tough? SHUT UP! Crazy Pete got just what he deserves, nobody, and I mean NOBODY sticks their nose in my business! Banks you know that, I am dangerous.
Banks: Titan you could of possibly paralized him, don't you care?
Titan: If he's not paralyzed, he will be if he shows up at Thursday Carnage. And Toxic Waste, next time we meet, i'll make sure to stick Twiggy up your ass!
Greg Banks: Titan we understand Crazy Pete interfered with your match but did you have to realy do that?
Arena Footage
Great camera work as the show focuses on the American and German flag in opposite corners in the ring, a breifcase hanging from the rafters attached to a Hell In A Cell! The ring announcer then starts to announce the rules for the next match.
SIW European Championship
Flag Match
Firestorm vs Keizer
At one time the most popular wrestling title in England, France, Greece, Germany and many more European countries, the SIW European championship was back in action at Brawl. As Keizer made his entrance it was obvious the fans weren't behind him cause the arena was filled with USA chants. Travis Dunns mentioned that Keizer should win cause he is German, and would represent the title very well.
As SIW Tag Team champion Firestorm came to ringside he was accompanied by the rest of The Outlaws SIW Tag Team champion Terror Soule and the SIW Women's Champion Latesha. Keizer didn't seem worried at all as he gave The Outlaws two thumbs down then waved the German flag and called the fans a bunch of American Sumina-Beeches!
As fan favorite Firestorm was working the crowd Keizer attacked him from behind with an knee to the back. He then put him in the corner and pounded away. Firestorm slowly fought back and executed a rolling thunder. Firestorm was in control of the match and had the fans behind him big time. He almost climbed the turnbuckle getting the American Flag but Keizer knocked him off to the outside before he could even touch the flag. Latesha and Terror Soule come to Firestorm's aid but are chase away by Keizer and a swinging steel chair! The ref then tells Keizer to put the chair down and get back in the ring. The 290 pound German then flew off the top rope delivering a flying forearm. As the match seemed over with one of Keizer's hands on the German flag Terror Soule punches him down off the turnbuckles. Keizer is pissed! The referee stops him from attacking The Outlaws. In all fairness the ref sends Latesha and Terror Soule backstage! It was then Keizer and Firestorm performed a good fight one on one. Keizer eventualy took advantage and dominated the match. The Third Reich came out of nowhere as Firestorm was out. The ref somehow got knocked down from the manuever but it didn't matter cause Keizer was going to get his flag anyway. At that moment The Enforcer came marching down the ramp and nailed Keizer with a Barbed Wire Bat in the middle of his forehead. The Enforcer refuses to stop beating Keizer. Firestorm is escorted backstage and seemed real upset with how the match ended since he walked in the favorite. All of a sudden the arena goes pitch black and then a light show is presented as we hear "Bring the Pain" by Mindless Self Indulgence
Three Stages Of Hell
Ladder/Barbed Wire/Hell In A Cell
X-Factor vs The Enforcer
X-Factor comes running down with a ladder a totaly smashed the back of Enforcer's head with it. As the match began and the bell was rung we saw The Enforcer then smile at X-Factor cause of the blood. People were actualy cheering his sickness. The match continued as paramedics took Keizer backstage and possibly to a hospital to join Crazy Pete.
This was probably the bloodiest match so far of the night. X-Factor was using the ladder as a battering ram, right in The Enforcer's ribs. As the match progressed, officials started comming down to ringside with spools of barbed wire! The ring crew was also there removing the ropes and replacing them with barbed wire.
X and Enforcer didn't care much cause they were fighting in the crowd. One of the fans got hurt standing in the way of an Enforcer standing side kick. Enforcer took the lead when he knocked X-Factor off the ladder dropping him out of the ring to the outside. X-Factor was motionless.
The Enforcer climbed the ladder and grabbed the breifcase, opened it up and read a document that stated he just became the new SIW North American champion! He was in pretty bloody shape and decided that he was gonna leave X-Factor there to rot instead of continuing the match.
As Enforcer was on the ramp going back stage, out of nowhere came X-Factor with a devastating hurricanrana. He then dragged Enforcer near the ring and started whipping his body on the barbed wire! X-Factor then went to the top rope and jumped to the outside nailing Enforcer with Senton Bomb!! He got the 1-2-3 with the Pain Killer but hurt himself too in the same time.
Alot of officials wanted to end the match but both bloody competitors refused to cut the Three Stages Of Hell short. The Cell lowered and the ring still had barbed wire instead of regular ropes. At this point the SIW was in big trouble with parents watching live and on tv and mostly the FCC. Little did they know, the main event was probably gonna be just as bad. Nobody understands how these two men continued the match in a cell with barbed wire rope for another ten minutes. Both competitors were dehydrated and dizzy from loss of blood. Nobody expected that the match would end like it did. Enforcer whipped X-Factor so hard he went right through the barbed wire and through the cell wall! People thought he was dead, not only from the beating but from blood loss. Minutes later Enforcer is mocking X-Factor and getting the crowd to cheer for new North American champion. From behind, X-Factor must of had an energy pack or something cause he leveled Enforcer with the Pain Giver winning the Three Stages Of Hell match. What a great match it was. The SIW has never seen a match of this calibur before. Both men were taken to the hospital after the match and they got a big ovation from the fans on the way out. Head Security Guard Polar made sure everthing was ok after the match.
Video Recap
The ring crew is trying to clean up some of the blood in the ring and replacing the barbed wire to real rope. The TrevorTron shows footage of the current feud between Cyrus The Virus and Matt Uzi. Everything from Cyrus digging out Matt's dead brother John Uzi to Matt kidnapping Grandma Cyrus. The Buried Alive match was made to end the feud once and for all.
Buried Alive Match
Cyrus The Virus vs Matt Uzi
The main event certainly lived up to the hype with Uzi and Cyrus putting on the performance of their lives. If you are weak at heart please stop reading right here.
Cyrus came out first accompanied by Ashley but then told her to go back in the locker room so she wouldn't have to see what he was gonna do to Uzi. She didn't seem to happy but it was for her best interest.
"Blackball" by The Offspring rocked the arena as Matt Uzi came to ringside in his Hummer-Limo. As he came out he had Grandma Cyrus with him!!! As he sat her down in a front row seat as promised Cyrus nailed him in the kidney's with one of many shovels. As he was swinging away Cyrus hit his grandma right in the forehead! It was realy realy horrible, some think he might of done it on purpose. Paramedics rushed to ringside and took out Grandma Cyrus who was gushing blood all over the place. Chants of HOLY SHIT! filled the arena.
Matt was hurt at that point but even he couldn't beleive what he saw. People actually started throwing garbage in the ring in Cyrus' direction. Matt Uzi didn't waste anymore time joking around as he rammed Cyrus' head continuously on the steel railing. He then irish whipped him into the Hummer. At that point Matt was in the zone and didn't care if he scratched the Hummer. He then bodyslammed Cyrus in the hole and started throwing dirt to fill it.
Cyrus grabbed his leg and pulled him in. He then forced the edge of a shovel in Matt's throat. Uzi gasped for air desperatly and seemed like he was in big trouble. Cyrus continued shoving the shovel in Uzi's throat and nobody could stop him. He was like a lunatic. Travis Dunns made it clear that Cyrus The Virus should not be let out of the Maryland Ward.
Just when the fans thought it was the end of Uzi, Matt's new ally Mike London ran out and dropkicked Cyrus in the face. He pulled out Uzi from the hole and proceeded to see if he was still alive. All of a sudden Cyrus from behind smashes London in the eye with the shovel leaving London in pain in a pool of blood possibly ending the career of the youngster. Play by Play man Jimmy Hayden couldn't watch anymore and left to go backstage. Cyrus laughed at his own actions but got a surprise when he turned around.
Uzi dented a steel chair over Cyrus' head but both fell to the ground as they were both in obvious pain. Matt barely got up and picked up the shovel. He then took his turn at choking Cyrus with it. Cyrus managed to counter and wacked Uzi over the head with the shovel.
The match came to an end when both Matt and Cyrus knocked each other out with shovels! Both fell into the burial hole. Matt Uzi somehow crawled out and then went inside the Hummer Limo. He then drove the Hummer over the burial hole so Cyrus was not able to get out. Matt with the help of long time friend Titan proceeded to fill the hole with the surrounding dirt as Matt Uzi was declared the winner of the match.
Winner: Matt Uzi
Stay tuned to find out the conditions of Crazy Pete, Keizer, X-Factor, The Enforcer, Mike London, Cyrus The Virus and Matt Uzi.
