Monday Night Brawl General Manager – Greg Banks

Bradley Center
Milwaukee, Wyoming.
Rating: 9.0

Grunge came out to the ring carrying a bag at the beginning of the program and made a huge announcement. He played a video of his career and claimed to be the best in the SIW. He reminded everyone that Titan was a jackass for retiring the best title in SIW history. Grunge announced that he brought back the SIW Hardcore Championship and pulled the belt out of the bag. He declared himself the new undisputed SIW Hardcore Champion and made an open challenge for next week. ABA was bold enough to come out and decide to accept his challenge. They fought back and forth in the ring until Greg Banks came out and made the match official for next week.

The first match was a SIW diva mud match between Jill, Shelby, Angelica, Liana, Kira and Regina with former SIW Champion Glenn Kirby as the special guest referee. It came to a point where the A.O.A had to choose between his girlfriend and sister who were getting near falls. Shelby went for a closeline but Liana countered and delivered Liana’s Flow. Lewis went for the pin but out of nowhere Angelica broke the count and nailed her with the A-Bomb Drop to pin her for the win. At the same time, Jill had Regina defeated after a splash but Glenn didn’t notice. Jill threatened Glenn but from behind, Shelby and Liana double closelined her back into the mud. Glenn got a piece of it too after they double suplexed him in the mud.

“Primetime” Ryan Johnson arrived at the Bradley Center carrying his own gear. Jack Kent asked where Bernardo was and Johnson said he had the flu and took the night off.

”Incredible” Ian Bishop ignored some SIW fans and staff members backstage as he talked on his cell phone. Apparently someone he knew was going to be on Monday Night Brawl.

In the triple threat match for the SIW World Tag Team championship, Mo and Jaffar were beaten down at the beginning of the match by Asmodeus and Slick Willy. Jaffar blinded Beastmaster with a white powder letting Mo lock in the cobra clutch. Cefalo drop kicked Mo in the back of the head to break the hold and delivered a DDT. The match ended when the ref disqualified Andrew Seaman for nailing Asmodeus with a steel chair. Wildside refused to accept a DQ win and took matters in their own hands. Mo, Andrew and Jaffar escaped but unfortunately Asmodeus nailed Cefalo with the Lion Spike through the Spanish table and Beastmaster suplexed Willy in the steel steps.

Monday Night Brawl general manager Greg Banks came to the ring and announced the former SIW World Tag Team champion he signed on Sunday night. Fans were shocked to see the return Mysery. He reminisced on good times but said he was back to make an even bigger impact. When Banks asked how he planned on making an impact, the former O.C. member picked him up and executed the Torture Soul.

Carnage rewind was aired. Last week Titan booked a title for title match at Summer Sonic between Rikki Cook and James Airington. Kim Derickson modified the main event and made it a triple threat for the SIW Heavyweight championship and added a competitor that was never eliminated in the tournament, Gavin Payne.

SIW Champion Angel and his girlfriend Jessie addressed the crowd live on the Trevortron via satellite. He had some good news, the doctor cleared him out of the hospital and he will be ready for Summer Sonic. He promised revenge on Johnson Bernardo for what he did whether or not he made it to the PPV this Sunday.

Former SIW Lightweight Champion Davyd North was sitting in the front row. He was only there to watch the show.

After a commercial break, “The Incredible” Ian Bishop took on Russel McPiledriverton in a classic match. Both these competitors have a long history and it was good to see them in the ring again. Although the referee got knocked down, Russel had the match won when he had Ian set up in The Perfect Piledriver but before it could be executed, the newest SIWA graduate "The Amazing" Desperado (formally known as the Canadian Inforcer) came from the crowd and smashed McPiledriverton in the head with a steel pipe. Ian then hit the Cyclone and pinned him for the victory. After the match Ian announced that Desperado was his tag partner and that after Summer Sonic, the tag division better be ready for The Canadian Roughnecks.

As CR celebrated in the ring, they were cut off by their old boss in UWWE, Double D Duane Doogan and his assistant Darren Moore who laughed at them. Doogan announced a bombshell when he said he signed an SIW contract. He claimed he and Bishop had unsettled business they had to finish after Summer Sonic is done. We hope to find out the history between these two and will it affect Bishop’s match at Summer Sonic.

Katie Mysfit and Jimmy Hayden ran a promo on MNB live in Piscataway, New Jersey this Wednesday. “Incredible” Ian Bishop will take on Glenn Kirby. Two former SIW Women’s Champion’s will fight as Angelica Hunt will take on Liana Lewis and not to miss is the debut of James Icon.

After a commercial break, the main event was next for a shot at the SIW Championship at Summer Sonic. The SIW European Champion Khristian Call and Primetime battled in a classic back and forth technical match for a good twenty five minutes. Primetime thought he had it won after delivering the Primetime Plunge but Call shocked everyone by kicking out at the last second. Johnson was left frustrated and nailed the champ with lefts and rights until the ref threatened to disqualify him. Call nailed him with a head butt and then leveled him with the Equalizer but couldn’t find the strength to pin him. The match ended when they were fighting on the outside. Primetime jumped back in the ring but as Call went to follow, Bernardo snuck from under the ring and held Call’s leg to get him counted out.
