Monday Night Brawl was live from the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York. The show started with the General Manager Titan in his new executive office. He was on the phone with the SIW World Champion Matt Uzi before being interrupted by an SIW staff member. Titan followed him down the hall and all the fans saw on the TrevorTron was Saydst unconscious on the ground. Jax and Drako said they saw someone running the other way but didn’t recognize who it was. Saydst was taken to the Buffalo General Hospital to get treated for a possible concussion. Jimmy Hayden said he was positive Uzi was behind the attack in some way. Enigma haden't arrived to the arena yet, Titan had the duty of telling Enigma his manager was sent to the hospital.
The first match was a diva tag team match between the SIW Hardcore champion Anck Su Namun and Regina Todd as they took on Olivia Danger and H-Bomb. Anck and Regina seemed very close and worked well as a team. They must have been spending a lot of time together. Olivia who recently lost her SIW Women’s title to her sister seemed more focused than on winning the match and almost put Regina away with a Belly to Back Flipping Throw Suplex but Regina kicked out. As Anck Su Namun dominated Olivia until Olivia countered a Mistral Cradle and went to tag in H-Bomb but H responded with a slap to her face and rammed her head first into the turnbuckle. Anck Su Namun pinned Olivia after delivering the Vicious Toxicity. At the end of the match, Anck and Regina stood at each side of H-Bomb and then all three diva’s hugged each other. Olivia couldn’t believe H-Bomb turned on her.
After a short promo for Thursday Night Carnage, Ian Bishop walked to ringside with a cup of Piledriver Cola in a McPiledriverton mug. He spat out the soda out in disgust and smashed the mug. He grabbed the announcers mic and said if McPiledriverton wants to get on his nerves and taunt him then he'll do the same. First, he demanded a match next week on MNB, a match versus Russel... and Slick Willy Seaman in a handicap match. He then kept mumbling about how he didnt care if it's 2 on 1 and that his record was 13-2-2 and undefeated since Road To Glory. Russel came out with a 2x4 and chased Ian through the crowd.
In the next match, Pheonix Walken took on Slick Willy Seaman. Slick started the match before the bell rung and hit Walken with a closeline and sent him to the corner and hit a bottom turnbuckle face kick. Half way through the match, Russel was still chasing Ian Bishop with that 2x4. As Ian ran around the ring he tripped Slick and continued running back into the crowd. The match ended when Pheonix capitalized on Ian’s interference and hit Slick with the Director's Cut to get the pin fall to win the match. Walken and Slick battled until security could separate them.
After a commercial break, the CEO of the SIW called Titan in his office and asked what the hell happen to Saydst. He called Titan a big retard and unprofessional for letting this slip on his show. Trevor said he got a call from the hospital and they said Saydst wont be able to compete at Assault 2005 in the Diva Rumble. Trevor gave him fifteen minutes to find a suitable replacement.
Bad Breed, Phillip Arceneaux and Brandon Clayborne, the #1 contenders for the SIW Tag Team titles took on Ionica, Vlad and Viper. If Ionica defeated Bad Breed, they would become the new #1 contenders. As Phillip started the match against Viper, Kirby and Rico could be seen in their separate rooms watching the match on a monitor. Bad Breed eventually got the win after Brandon nailed Vlad with the Bad Business and pinned him.
VeX was backstage knocking on Mike Valens’ locker room. Valens didn’t answer but VeX shouted that his two weeks of slaving starts the Monday after Assault 2005. Greg Banks then interviewed VeX. He talked about his match next Thursday and Assault against Ryan Johnson involving the SIW North American championship. Primetime then attacked him from behind and busted his head open with a set of brass knucks.
Titan came out to ringside and told everyone that he had everything under control for the ppv match and that Saydst’s attacker will be punished when he found out who it was. He then announced a replacement in the Diva Rumble, it was non other than the first ever SIW Women’s champion Latesha. She will take on seven other divas at Assault 2005.
A video package for a new wrestler was shown. At 3’ 8”, from Central London, England, Aiden "Capital" Camichel will soon become the shortest competitor to ever fight in an SIW ring. Jimmy Hayden mentioned that Titan booked him to fight Metalgod next Monday night.
The SIW North American Championship was on the line as The Z-Man took on the champion Primetime Ryan Johnson. This was a big match for Z-Man so he took some wake up pills. Primetime took off Z-Man’s helmet and hit him with a devastating DDT followed by a Sidewalk Slam but it wasn’t enough to put away the former SIW Lightweight champion. The referee turned to the entrance as VeX stood there looking on with a bandage over his head. Z-Man went to use his helmet to knock out Ryan, but Primetime caught it and used it himself to knock out Z. The referee turned around and Primetime won the match by pin fall. VeX ran to the ring and they ended up beating the hell out of each other. Security and officials couldn’t stop them until Titan sent reinforcements. VeX got him good when he punched Primetime in the mouth and knocked out a tooth.
The Renegade told Enigma what happen earlier during the night and he ended up kicking down Titan’s office door open and asked where the hell was security when Saydst got attack. Titan told him to relax and that he’d find out who was behind everything. Enigma continued to insult the General Manager but then out of nowhere the SIW World Champion Matt Uzi jumped Enigma and suplexed him through Titan’s desk. Uzi kept punching him in the face and even Titan got some kicks in. Matt Uzi got a very negative response from the crowd in Buffalo.
The SIW European Champion, ”Red Hot” Rikki Cook made a huge announcement. He had in his hand his new SIW contract for 2005. He announced that from now on, Rikki Cook and the SIW European championship will be excusive to Monday Night Brawl. Cook made an open challenge for next Monday and it was answered by the SIW Lightweight Champion Terror Soule who came out with his new SIW Soule championship belt he won in OWO recently. All three championships will be on the line next week on MNB.
The SIW Tag Team championship was on the line in singles competition for the first time in SIW history. Glenn Kirby and Jonathan Rico accompanied by Tomy D. made their entrances but before they could start their match, Bad Breed came to ringside also and told Carlos Perez and Pedro Alvarez to take the rest of the night off and took over the Spanish Commentary table. Rico and Kirby displayed great athleticism but Rico gained advantage of the match after Tommy D. jumped on the apron distracting the ref and Rico hit Kirby from behind Russian leg sweep. Phillip got involved when he knocked out Tommy with his steel chair. Rico then went after Phillip but from behind Kirby clipped his knee and then threw him back in the ring. Kirby went for the Thug Bug but Rico moved out of the way and hit the A.O.A with a closeline. The match ended when Rico turned around and threw some white powder but missed Kirby completely and the A.O.A hooked him into an inside cradle but Rico reversed it into his favor to get the win. As Rico got to his feet, Phillip and Brandon went to give Rico the titles but then Brandon slapped him across his face and Bad Breed beat him down as Brawl came to an end.
