A look at the PPV this past Sunday.

Voiceover:All will be clear about the Jobber Overlord tonight. Right about now.

Some creepy music plays. Out comes the Jobber Overlord and the Imposter John Finnegan. The Jobber Overlord holds up the Jobber Title. The crowd is booing.

Overlord:Last night the title of the jobbers came back to its rightful place. First of all the man who I could not do it without. The man who posed as the referee for the title match last night.

The Imposter Finnegan slowly pulled off the mask. Its...Its....Its

Barry Horowitz:ITS ME GAMBLER. Its was me all along Gambler. You all bought it. The jobbers in the temple of SMRAH TTAM were actors. Crappy actors yes but still actors. However I could not be the Jobber Overlord. That would be way too obvious. I called in a favor from an old friend of mine. I didn't care who won the title, it was just so I would get the title off of that ungrateful whippersnapper Gambler. So for the first time. The revealing of the Jobber Overlord.

The Jobber Overlord slowly pulls his hood down. Its...SD JONES. You know. SD Jones. The guy who lost to King Kong Bundy in the fastest match in Wrestlemania History.

SD Jones:Thats right baby. SD Jones. The man who whopped King Kong Bundy's ass at Wrestlemania I before a crooked referee screwed me out of my rightful victory. I am the NAWA Jobber Champion. The Gambler will NEVER get a title shot again.

"Viva Las Vegas" plays and out comes the Gambler.

Gambler:You rotten son of a bitches. You old fossils represent the Jobber Division. This makes me sick. You are way too old. You are holding down young talent like me. You are holding down the New Blood of the jobber division.

SD Jones:Well if you want to do something about it Daddy, get a partner and face us in a tag team match.

Gambler motions to the back and Adrian Byrd comes from the back. They run to the ring and the match begins.

Adrian Byrd and The Gambler vs SD Jones and Barry Horowitz Bryd and Gambler whip Horowitz into the ropes. Double kick to the midsection. Double clothesline knocking Barry to the outside. Gambler jumps over the top and the crowd gets all excited thinking he is going for a dive but he lands on the apron. Gambler fires a good old fashion boot to the face of Horowitz. Gambler now rolled Horowitz back into the ring. The Gambler catches Horowitz with an elbow to the top of the head as he rises to his feet. The Gambler takes out Bryd. They whip him into the ropes. DOUBLE HEART PUNCH. Horowitz is down and double Garvin Stomp. Good night nurse. Byrd is winding up for the Big Right Hand of Byrd but he gets too dizzy and falls on his face. Horowitz tags SD Jones in. SD Jones with a three point stance and he tackles Byrd to the mat. SD Jones with a cover. One, Two, Kickout. SD Jones lifts up Byrd but Byrd slides down the backdoor. Dropkick to Jones and Lukewarm tag to Gambler. Gambler is in fists of fire. He knocks the heads of SD Jones and Horowitz together. Gambler with a forearm to Jones. Gambler with a forearm to Horowitz. Gambler clotheslines Jones out of the ring and both men tumble to the outside. Byrd enters the ring and hits a forearm smash off the top rope to Horowitz. Byrd now waits on Horowitz to get up. Dropkick attempt but Horowitz catches him. Catapault from Horowitz and Byrd clotheslines himself on the top rope. Byrd stumbles into the Winning Move. Horowitz with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Three. Barry Horowitz and SD Jones win.

Barry Horowitz and SD Jones defeated Adrian Byrd and The Gambler when Horowitz pinned Byrd after the Winning Move in 0:03:43. Rating: -1/4*

Gambler enters the ring wielding a piece of cardboard. WHACK. Barry sells the shot like a Burning Hammer off of the top of the arena through 5 tables set up on fire. SD Jones runs it but he gets smacked with another shot. Gambler picks up the Jobber Title and holds it up. Gambler then says soon enough and lays the title on the fallen body of SD Jones.

In the Dragon's Lair plays and out comes Commissioner Steamboat. Steamboat enters the ring as the crowd cheers.

Steamboat:As you know Super Crazy and Jerry Lynn have been at each other's throats for months now. I want to settle this issue once and for all. So here is whats going to happen. Super Crazy and Jerry Lynn will fight in the BEST OF SEVEN SERIES.

The crowd cheers.

Steamboat:The feud will be settled at the end of the series. Whomever comes out with the most wins is the Number One Contender for the NAWA International Title. Tonights main event will be match one in the series. Thank you for your time.

Steamboat leaves. Wow. Super Crazy vs Jerry Lynn in the Best of Seven Series. Those could be some classic bouts.

Backstage:

Harry Harris is sitting backstage.

Harris:Last night at the PPV, I lost to New Jack. He fluked his way to win. But he didn't beat me. I beat myself. If I hadn't like the feel of barbed wire wrapped around my foot I would be standing before you the most Xtreme motherfucking in this motherfucking fed. Instead I am only the second most Xtreme motherfucker. I will not rest, I will not sleep, I will not eat, I will not shit, until I get a title shot at that Mr. T wannabe New Jack. That title is MINE. Its my birthright. This belt is mine. So whatcha gonna do when Harrismania runs wild on you, dude.

Harris hits himself with a frying pan wrapped in barbed wire and rakes his face on the barbed wire as we fade out.

Elsewhere Backstage:

Shane Douglas:So Candido. Your month is up yet you failed to win a match. So you are out of the Triple Threat.

Chris Candido:PLEASE SHANE. Give me one more chance. Just one more chance. I am a lackey. Without the Triple Threat I'd just be another person.

Shane Douglas:FINE. You get one more chance. But this is your last motherfucking chance. If you can defeat Norman Smiley tonight, you can stay in the Triple Threat. If you lose, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

So tonight Chris Candido must defeat Norman Smiley if he wants to stay in the Triple Threat.

We see Brian Armstrong taking a seat at ringside. Brian Armstrong has refused to work in the NAWA until he can get some respect and high profile matches. He went about that in a weird way by attacking K-Kwik, Steve Armstrong, and Jeff Jarrett at Unholy Alliances in attempt to get noticed.

"Rowdy:The NAWA ReMix" plays and out comes K-Kwik and Steve Armstrong. We are going to have some tag team action. Brian Armstrong is becoming the black sheep of the Armstrong family. Brad Armstrong will be out until November due to that attack last week by the Young Guns.

"Higher" by Creed plays and out come the Young Guns with Midajah. Well the Young Guns have drove Brian Armstrong over the edge, because Brian Armstrong's emotional breakdown can be traced back to a series of Young Guns-Armstrong matches where the Armstrongs had the win but they were screwed out of the victory by some unfortunate circumstances. They also injured Brad Armstrong. Steve Armstrong seems to be the only Armstrong left for the Young Guns to finish off.

The Young Guns(w/Midajah) vs K-Kwik and Steve Armstrong Steve Armstrong starts out with Flashfly. They lock up and Flashfly pushes Steve off. Dropkick by Flashfly. Flashfly with some stomps and an elbowdrop. Flashfly climbs up top and flying cross body to Steve. Hooking the leg already. One, Two, Kickout. Flashfly with a kick to the midsection. Flashfly with a spin kick and tag to Sean Studd. Studd with some punches and Studd whips Steve into the ropes. Studd ducks the head and Steve with a kick to the face. Studd rushes Steve but gets armdragged. Steve with a superkick to Studd and tag to K-Kwik. Steve puts K-Kwik on his shoulders and K-Kwik flies off the top with a dropkick. Cover from K-Kwik hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. K-Kwik picks up Studd. K-Kwik fires some chops to the chest of Studd. K-Kwik takes a couple of steps back and levels Studd with a spin kick. K-Kwik now drops an elbow. K-Kwik steps back and drops another elbow. K-Kwik steps out and drops a third elbow. K-Kwik with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. K-Kwik picks up Sean Studd and slams him. K-Kwik dukes a little juke and jive and legdrops Sean Studd. K-Kwik with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. K-Kwik bounces off the ropes but gets kneed in the back by Flashfly. Sean Studd runs over K-Kwik with a clothesline. Sean Studd picks up K-Kwik and lifts him up. Backbreaker from Sean Studd. Sean Studd now picks up K-Kwik and Sean Studd with a bodyslam. Tag to Flashfly. Sean Studd slams Flashfly off the top into a cannonball splash to K-Kwik. Cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Save from Steve Armstrong. Flashfly picks up K-Kwik and Flashfly lifts him up. Brainbuster by Flashfly. Tag to Sean Studd. Studd comes off the top and drops the elbow to the sternum of K-Kwik. Cover from Studd hooking the leg. One, Two, Thr...shoulder up. Studd picks up K-Kwik and whips him in. Studd charges in but only hits corner. K-Kwik with a spinning leg lariat to Sean Studd.

K-Kwik needs to make the tag to Steve Armstrong. K-Kwik does a foward roll and HOT TAG TO STEVE ARMSTRONG. Steve Armstrong jumps over the top while dropkicking Studd. Steve Armstrong monkeyflips Flashfly on top of Studd. Steve now legdrops the pile. Midajah is on the top rope but K-Kwik pulls her off. K-Kwik reveals Midajah's g-string. Steve Armstrong spanks Midajah. Steve catches Studd with a sidekick as he tried to intervine. Steve slams Studd and climbs up top. Steve with a flying cross body no Studd counters with a fallaway slam. K-Kwik charges Studd but gets backdropped to the outside. Flashfly now with a tope con hilo wiping out K-Kwik. The referee is trying to maintain some order and Midajah slides Sean Studd a wrench. Studd goes to smack Steve with it but Steve ducks and rolling reverse cradle. Steve has Studd all tied up but no referee. Midajah picks up the wrench and cheapshots Steve from behind with it. Flashfly is up top and Firebird Splash to Steve. The referee counts. One, Two, Three. The Young Guns win again.

Flashfly and Sean Studd defeated Steve Armstrong and K-Kwik when Flashfly pinned Steve Armstrong after a 450 splash in 0:05:54. Rating: * 1/2

K-Kwik enters the ring but gets hit with the Problem Solver. Midajah has a pair of handcuffs and Steve gets handcuffed to the middle rope. Flashfly has a chair. Flashfly smashes it over the knee of Steve Armstrong. Flashfly hands the chair to Sean Studd. Sean Studd smashes the chair over the knee over Steve. They are doing the same thing that happened to Brad Armstrong last week. Taking turns with that steel chair to the leg. Brian Armstrong looks to be hopping over the guardrail but just turns around and leaves the crowd in disgust. He is walking away. Finally the keystone cops come in and stop the beatdown before any serious injuries can occur.

"The Berlyn Theme" plays and out comes Alex Wright. Wright sneers at the fans and enter the rings.

Alex Wright:Shut up you stupid American pigs. I have someting important to say. I will try and say it in small words so you uneducated lazy Americans can understand. One of the biggest misconceptions--lie to you uneducated Americans--is that I hate all Americans. I only hate stupid Americans. That covers about 98 percent of you. You would all be dead if you were in any other country in the world. The stupidest American I have encountered is CW Anderson. He looks like a total slob. All you Americans are weak. All you know how to do is watch porn, smoke weed, and pig out on all those fatty American snack foods. From now on in the NAWA I will make it my mission to rid this fed of its problems. That starts tonight with CW Anderson. Maybe all you Americans will understand the greatness of Alex Wright now.

The crowd starts a chant of "Go Home". Out comes CW Anderson. Anderson has the microphone.

Anderson:First of all Wright, if you don't like American so much why don't you leave. It is clear that you are not wanting.

Wright:No it is clear that I am not the problem. America is the problem. There influence on the world has been long enough. It is time for action.

Anderson:You are not getting through. A pledge allegience to the flag of the United States of America and everything this country as done to keep most of the rest of the world being free and democratic.

Wright:Maybe if this country didn't stick there nose into every little tiff, you wouldn't be hated by the rest of the world.

CW runs to the ring. Wright has pushed it too far. CW attacks Wright as the bell rings.

CW Anderson vs Alex Wright Anderson pounds Wright with punches. Anderson with a big swing and Wright falls to the canvas. Anderson now with a clothesline as Wright gets up. A second clothesline from Anderson and a third one knocking Wright to the outside. Anderson gives chase and around the ring we go. Wright rolls inside and Anderson makes the mistake of sliding under the bottom rope so he gets stomped. Wright with an European Uppercut to Anderson. Wright with an European uppercut. Wright stomps Anderson and Wright rolls him over. Wright with a kneedrop. Wright now WORKS the chinlock. Anderson powes out and elbows to the gut of Wright. Anderson with a shoulderblock to Wright. Anderson with another shoulderblock. Anderson with a third shoulderblock. Anderson now with a gutshot. Anderson hooks Wright and DDT to Wright. Anderson with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, foot on the ropes. Anderson thinks he has won and he celebrates. The referee says differently and Anderson is pissed. Anderson charges into Wright but Wright gets both feet up. Wright with the Flair Pin with the feet on the ropes. One, Two, Three. Alex Wright steals one from CW Anderson.

Alex Wright pinned C.W. Anderson after a roll up in 0:05:53. Rating: 1/2*

Wright runs to the back and Anderson looks not too pleased.

Earlier this week a press conference was held announcing the date and location of the NAWA's second biggest show of the year(behind WrestleClash in July), NAWA StarClash.

We see NAWA Owner Matt Harms step up to the press box.

Matt Harms:We are pleased to inform all the fans here in Texas that NAWA StarClash 2002 will be from the Houston Astrodome. This will be the first NAWA card in Texas. This will be December 22nd only on PPV.

We pan back to see The Gambler, Sting, The Ultimate Warrior(sans facepaint), and Norman Smiley signing autographs.

Gambler:NAWA StarClash could be our biggest card to date. WrestleClash was the one with the most buildup Main Event wise but this one has the potential to be bigger.

Sting:Good to be back in Texas. Maybe I will have the title come StarClash. Anything can happen(laughs)

UW:Looking foward to seeing all my little Warriors in Houston. Remember let the universe be with you.

Norman Smiley:I just hope I get a decent match on the card. Thats all. I will be in Houston one way shape or form.

We see an NAWA T-Shirt being raffled off and clips of a short preview for the new NAWA Video Game titled NAWA Glory, coming out in stores September 19th. Then we see a promotional poster that says:NAWA StarClash, December 22nd from the Houston Astrodome. The wrestlers featured are Sting, Harry Harris, Shane Douglas, and Jeff Jarrett. We fade out.

Backstage:

We see Tony Mamaluke playing the new NAWA video game NAWA Glory(coming out in stores September 19th).

Tony Mamaluke:Damn. Second wind(pounds on buttons). No not run. Damn I ran into the barbed wire again. Stupid New Jack.

We see New Jack hitting Tony Mamaluke with a trash can.

Voice:So you suck at a wrestling video game. How is it different from real life.

We pan back to see Francine.

Mamaluke:Speak for yourself. You suck anything that is attached to a male's pelvis. You sleep with anything thats alive.

Francine:Well at least I don't spend my time playing video games in the lockeroom like a little punk who thinks he is clever. and suck at doing it too.

Mamaluke:So I suck. Well I lets get down to the ring and I will give you something to suck on. NO not that you dirty whore. My fist in your face.

"The Theme from the Godfather" plays and out comes Tony Mamaluke in his three piece suit, with diamond tipped cane, and hair slicked back. Either he changed real quick or the last segment was taped before the show.

"Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple plays and out comes Francine. Francine enters the ring and the bell rings.

"The Sicilian Stud" Tony Mamaluke vs Francine Francine slaps Mamaluke at the bell and Mamaluke armdrags her down. Mamaluke with another armdrag and Mamaluke with a third armdrag. Mamaluke throws Francine to the outside. Mamaluke bounces off the ropes and pescado from Mamaluke. Francine was wiped out on the floor. Mamaluke rolls Francine back into the ring. Mamaluke climbs up top and missile dropkcik. Mamaluke with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Mamaluke now picks up Francine and hooks her. Mamaluke lifts up Francine and pumphandle slam to Francine. Mamaluke now goes up top. Mamaluke misses the Sicilian Jam. Francine now with a kick and Francine with a sloppy swinging neckbreaker. She barley touched Mamaluke. Mamaluke, bless his soul, sells it like a million bucks. Francine with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Francine now picks up Mamaluke and Francine forearms Mamaluke. Francine with a clothesline to Mamaluke. Francine climbs to the second rope and pump splash to Mamaluke. Francine with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Francine picks up Mamaluke and Francine with a punch to Mamaluke. Francine bounces off the ropes but gets backdropped to the outside. Mamaluke runs off and wipes out Francine with a tope suicida. Mamaluke rolls Francine back in. Mamaluke is up top but Francine is up. Francine falls on the top rope crotching Mamaluke. Francine now is up top. Francine now with an akward superplex to Mamaluke. Francine with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Francine goes to the second rope and drops an elbow to Mamaluke. One, Two, Kickout.

Mamaluke is double tough. Francine goes up top again and drives a knee into the forehead of Mamaluke. Another cover from Francine. One, Two, Kickout. Francine picks up Mamaluke and whips him into the corner. Francine with a handspring elbow to Mamaluke. That was very sloppy and not well done. Francine now goes up top. Francine flies off but misses whatever she was going for. Mamaluke is up on his feet and he charges at Francine. Mamaluke dropkicks Francine right in the chest. Mamaluke now picks up Francine. Double underhook suplex from Mamaluke. Mamaluke now goes up top. He waits on Francine. Mamaluke dives off and springboard dropkick to Francine. Mamaluke with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Mamaluke picks up Francine and shoulderbreaker. Mamaluke takes it to the outside and slingshot somersault senton. Mamaluke with another cover. One, Two, Kickout. Mamaluke is argueing about the count. Mamaluke picks up Francine but Francine hits him below the belt. Francine takes it to the top rope. Francine with a Koochie-Ka-Rana to Mamaluke. Mamaluke takes one of his "oh my god, he is going to break his neck if he bumps like that" bumps. Francine with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Thr...Kickout. Francine is beside herself. Francine goes up top again for another Koochie-Ka-Rana but Mamaluke catches her. Mamaluke with a Lyger Bomb to Francine. Mamaluke now sits up and grapevines Francine's legs. Mamaluke hooks her into what he calls the Sicilian Cloverleaf. It is a Texas Cloverleaf done by an Italian. Mamaluke is cranking it in. Francine is trying to fight the hold. Francine is trying to inch her way further but Mamaluke leans back on the hold. Finally Francine taps out. The bell rings. Tony Mamaluke is your winner.

Tony Mamaluke made Francine submit to the Sicilian Cloverleaf in 0:09:20. Rating: * 3/4

Tony Mamaluke refuses to release. The referee begins to count. He better release it or the decision will be reversed. One, Two, Three, Four, Tony Mamaluke releases the hold. He was sending a message to the rest of the Triple Threat in that match. Mamaluke asks for the microphone.

Mamaluke:Corino, I am coming after you next.

Tony Mamaluke wants a shot at the NAWA International Champion Steve Corino.

We just have word that next week on NAWA Glory the contract signing between the Ultimate Warrior and Sting for the End of Days will take place. Both UW and Sting will be in the house next week on Glory. But this week isn't over, so stick around for more NAWA Glory.

Mike Sanders:What an Above Average night tonight was. I made a big impact on the PPV last night.

Disco Inferno:We lost our match so what is the...

Mike Sanders:We only lost because your pussy ass tapped out. So you are SOL and we all know what that means. Speaking of people who are SOL, Jeff Jarrett is another one. Last night, I injured him and took him clear out of action. That was an Above Average beatdown. So Jeff Jarrett. If you want anymore on this, I am challenging you to a match at the End of Days. We fade back to the arena.

Mike Sanders has challenged Jeff Jarrett to a match at the End of Days and Disco Inferno is still a doofus. That sums up that segment in a nutshell.

Backstage:

We see Scott Hall drinking a bottle of beer. We see about a dozen or so bottles all over the floor. Sean Waltman pops into the dressing room.

Waltman:Scott, you need to stop doing this. You are drinking more than ever. So what you lost to Sting last night. You can bounce back and get another chance. But not if you do this.

Hall:Don't tell me to give up the car keys mother.

Hall passes out on the floor. Sid comes into the dressing room.

Sid:What in the hell are you doing punk.

Waltman:I am trying to stop him from throwing away his life. Why aren't you doing anything.

Sid:I'm the bodyguard. I'm paid to guard the body. I don't care what he does. I just get paid and shut up.

Sid smacks Waltman and chokes him. Sid throws Waltman into a metal pole in the dressing room area. Sid now is stomping Waltman. Sid now picks up Waltman and Gorilla Press slam on the table. Waltman may be broken in half. Sid now grabs Waltman by the hair and throws him out of the dressing room. Waltman gets up hurt.

Waltman:You damn heartless son of a bitch. All I was trying to do was help my friend. You son of a..

Sid slams the door in Waltman's face.

"Alive" by POD plays and out comes Norman Smiley. Norman wants to get back on a winning track tonight.

Norman picks up Candido and whips him into the ropes. Norman with a powerslam as Candido rebounds off the ropes. Norman with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Norman picks up Candido but gets thumbed in the eye. The crowd boos that one. Candido with a clothesline. Candido now backs off and drops an elbow. Candido backs off and drops another elbow. Chris Candido picks up Norman. Candido hooks Norman but it is blocked. Candido with a shot to the midsectio and Candido whips Norman into the ropes. Candido takes Norman down with a back elbow as he bounces off the ropes. Candido now picks up Norman and puts him in the tree of woe. Candido stomps Norman in the corner but breaks one four. Candido is being careful. If he gets disqualified, he is out of the Triple Threat. Candido now back to the stomping. Candido then backs off again. Candido now with a baseball slide dropkick to Norman. Norman falls out of the corner. Candido now picks up Norman and Candido with a gutwrench suplex. Candido now climbs to the top rope. Candido with a fistdrop to Norman. Candido now picks up Norman and backbreaker. Candido hangs on and side slam from Candido to Norman. Candido with a cover hooking the leg. One, Two, Kickout. Candido picks up Norman and throws him into the buckles. Candido hammers away at Norman with punches. Candido with a snap mare and Candido with a legdrop to Norman. Candido with a cover. Candido now picks up Norman. Candido with a backdrop suplex to Norman. Candido is climbing up top. Candido poses and Candido with a Swandive Headbutt to Norman. Norman twitches on impact. Candido is taking it to the top rope. Candido flies off but crashes and burns on the Swandive Headbutt. Norman needs to get some offense in. Attempting a Cradle Tombstone but Crazy kicks his feet and reverses. Crazy hits a Cradle Tombstone Piledriver of his own. Crazy now locks Lynn in the Stretch Plum. Lynn is right in the center of the ring. Lynn is trying to find a way out but Crazy has the hold on. Lynn looks around and taps out. CRAZY WINS. Crazy leads the best of seven series 1-0.
