"Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple plays and out comes Shane Douglas...alone. Shane is wearing jeans and the new Shane Douglas "Cut the Fucking Music" t-shirt. Shane is mouthing off to the fans and looking up at the rafters in a paranoid type way. Sting isn't here by the looks of it.
Shane Douglas:Cut the Fucking music. Now. Last Week didn't bode well for the Threat. First of all, that clown in facepaint Sting, attacked when the lights were out. He laid out Chris Candido and put one of those little masks all you annoying fuckers in the crowd like to wear. I should have crippled that british moron, Norman Smiley but because of that facepainted motherfucker I didn't. That is the second thing that didn't go right...
The crowd chants asshole.
Shane Douglas:SHUT YOUR FUCKING TRAPS. Each and every one of you. It is not my fault you are a bunch of fucking sheep. It is not my fault you cheer certain people that only people with your feeble minds can like. For example you seem to like to cheer bald headed, beer swilling, foul mouthed, one dimensional, repititive, one word annoying catchphrase sorry excuses of a wrestler and you know who I am talking about. He is in that other promotion that got beat in a court case by some panda protecting cocksuckers. Get the F out indeed. That...
Shane's speech was stopped. His microphone appears to be cut. We cut to the production truck where "The Boss" is heard. (He is hidden in the shadows off screen). He is screaming.
"The Boss":I want you to cut every fucking microphone in this building. What does that jackass think he is doing. He is trying to get us a lawsuit. Keep those microphones off until he is escorted out of the ring.
We see sercurity in the ring. Shane Douglas is leaving. He looks rather pissed that his promo was cut off. Good thinking by the production crew.

Shane Douglas arrives and takes the microphone.
Shane Douglas:Finally. A working microphone. Now as...

Mero gets over and taunts the Gambler. Gambler is remaining cool. The NAWA jobber champion must have not been reckonized by sercurity and let in so he had to buy a ticket off of scalpers. Speaking of the NAWA jobber title when was the last time that piece of trash was defended. Isn't there some defense rule for 30 days or does "The Boss" even care.
That Arn Anderson knock-off theme starts out and out comes the Enforcer CW Anderson. Anderson nearly beat Jerry Lynn for the International title back at Reality Check. If it wasn't for some sneaky tactics from Lynn, Anderson would stand before us as the NAWA international champion. CW takes off his vest and throws it in Mero's face. C.W. Anderson pinned Marc Mero with the Spinebuster Slam in 0:04:47. Rating: * 1/2
Anderson is celebrating and The Gambler is starting a Mero sucks chant. The crowd joins in and Mero looks furious. Mero asks for a microphone.
Mero:I bet you people would like to see me out of the NAWA would you.
The crowd cheers at the thought of this.
Mero:Well if this jobber beats me at the PPV, I will leave the NAWA FOREVER.
Gambler nods. Is he accepting the challenge.
Mero:Wait a minute. WHEN I win, the jobber division is no more. This loser and all his jobber buddies have to leave the NAWA forever. How do like them apples.
The Gambler asks for a microphone. Gambler gets it.
Gambler:You know what they say in the westerns, this town ain't big enough for the two of us. You got your match. Loser Leaves the NAWA at Gold Rush. Since I am the jobber champion when you beat me, you beat the entire jobber division.
The Gambler will face Marc Mero at Gold Rush. Either Mero will be gone for the NAWA or the entire jobber division. This should be the sleeper match of the PPV. But is the Gambler biting off more than he can chew in this one. If he loses not only does he leave but also the entire jobber division.

[commericial]
The two referee's are still argueing at who won. Here comes Commisioner Steamboat. Steamboat has a microphone.
Steamboat:First to clear up this little matter, director. Show the replay in slow motion.
The Replay is shown. All Four shoulders are on the canvas. But it is unclear whether Armstrong threw up a shoulder before or after the bell.
Steamboat:The replay appears to be inconclusive. We cannot pinpoint on whether Brad Armstrong rolled his shoulder before, at, or after the bell. It was too close to call even in slow mo. So my offical decision is a double pin. The NAWA executive commitee will have a meeting next Monday to decide what to do with the number one contenders status to the NAWA tag team titles. An announcement will be made next week.
Texas Tornado Match: The F.B.I and Brian Armstrong and Brad Armstrong battled to a double pin in 0:07:22. Brad Armstrong tore his left calf muscle. He will be out for approximately 5 months. Rating: **
That seems to settle the dispute. Brad Armstrong is helped back by trainers since he can't even stand under his own power. Will still don't have number one contenders for the NAWA tag team titles. We may get some sort of ruling next week. Hopefully we can get an answer

Now Lynn with a figure-four leglock. Come on. Its enough. Lynn is using the ropes for leverage. You won the damn match. The crowd is cheering. Super Crazy is limping down to the ring. Crazy pulls Lynn off and Crazy knocks Lynn to the outside. This issue is far from over from Super Crazy and Jerry Lynn. Even through Crazy didn't win the last match as mandated by Commisioner Steamboat so he can't get any more international title shots at Jerry Lynn and that is really eating at Super Crazy. Lynn is trying to get back in the ring but sercurity is holding him back.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match New Jack pinned Christopher Daniels after outside interference in 0:06:16. Rating: ** 1/4 (New Jack retained the NAWA King of Extreme title.)
A groggy New Jack gets his hand raised. He is still the Xtreme Champion. Wait a minute. "Enter the Sandman" by Motorhead is playing over the loud speakers. New Jack looks around. Then we pan out to the right side of the arena. The Sandman is their with his singapore cane. Sandman has an eyepatch over that eye that New Jack injured last week. Sandman makes the I want the belt motion around his waist. New Jack is yelling for the Sandman to come down but the Sandman isn't taking the bait with a ring full of plundah and New Jack. While this staredown is happening lets go backstage where Cyrus is with Norman Smiley. Take it away Cyrus.
Cyrus:Norman tonight you will face Jeff Jarrett for the right to get the shot at the NAWA world title at Gold Rush...
Norman:Didn't I already defeat King Slappy back at Reality Check. Why do I have to earn this again.
Cyrus:Well you were pinned when the referee was down, so you shouldn't really have gotten the title shot.
Norman:If it is anybody's fault that Jarrett didn't win it is Jarrett. He was the one that lobbed me into Steamboat so he is fully responsible. Plus close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and getting nailed. But that isn't the point. The point is that it is my responsibilty to teach that disrespecting piece of garbage Shane Douglas a lesson. So Jarrett, get ready because I defeated you before and I have a feeling I am about to do it again.
That match is next

"So why don't you choke on that, slanputs."
"Cowboy" by Kid Rock starts up over the loud speaker. Out comes Jeff Jarrett. We have two referees. One on the inside and one on the outside. Jarrett looks ready for battle.
"Norman" plays and out comes Norman Smiley. Norman looks as serious as we have ever seen him. Perhaps he realizes that Jeff Jarrett isn't to be taken likely anymore. Norman and Jarrett are staring daggars at each other and the bell rings.
