[20 March 2003] Welcome to Marz Unleashed! This is going to be the total uncensored version of the Beyond The Grave's. I'm doing this for the simple fact that which happened over the weekend, the whole Tool/IWA splitting deal made me feel like it was time to express my emotions on all involved, and a lot of the people I've come across in recent months. A lot of the time when I'm writing BTG, I'll find myself deleting a lot of what was written because I don't want to cause a scene/commotion by what I've said. But in this column, things will be different. I hope those who I comment on aren't that disturbed by this, as this is only my opinion, and much like that of someone who is bi-polar [which I am, 1/3 of me, anyway], I change my mind and opinion consistantly. But this is something I need to do, so whether my rant on you is good or bad, deal with it. Or come talk to me in private, not making a giant deal out of it and leaving the channel, or something. Enjoy. [side note : I've been sick. Also, been busy following the latest on the war. Live your lives people, there is more to this world than the internet.] The SituationFirst I'll describe the situation as it is, to the best of my knowledge. All of this happened while I was away for the majority of the weekened. Darren opped Shane for reasons I still do not know, or could even possibly imagine. Androo later spoke out against this, claiming he had power enough to make decisions in the federation, and deopped Shane, something which to some extent I support. We didn't need that many ops, and I don't see how Shane could benefit the channel. Now, this lead to Mick speaking out against the deopping, probably furthering his point that Droo had power whilst Droo continously said that he did not, and he was just there to run the bot. Androo responded by deopping and banning Mick, leaving Shane to part the channel. I returned the next day to find two memo's, one from Androo explaining his side of the story, saying Mick had responded badly to how he disciplined him after warning him he was having a bad night, and that Mick had removed him from the IWA/ICWW event this upcoming weekend. He said that should the situation not be resolved in the next couple of days, basically the partnership was not going to work out. I also had one waiting for me from Mick, saying that he intended to replace Androo as he had already proven that he could not hold that position of power. Later that day Androo approached both Mick and Shane, apologizing and asking to speak with Mick in a professional manner. They didn't reply, or they didn't answer, one of the two. Apparently they had already made up their minds. Darren attempted to talk to Androo about stepping down from his position of power for a while, due to popular demand, and Androo overreacted, banning Darren and saying he backstabbed him. That was basically the last straw, as we couldn't choose Androo over Mick and Shane in a personal or professional sense. Now, my take on the matter Everyone should have stopped nitpicking and bitching because Androo was in a state of power. It was constant from the day we started IWA. Especially from Shane. We were talking about our hopes and aspirations on the first day in the ICWW channel, and Shane blurts out "ALREADY SUCKS" which led into a giant fight. ON THE FIRST DAY! I mean, Christ, you could come out the channel and make an opinion of how we'll do, but don't just say 'sucks' without giving it a chance. At that point in time, we were the only real option for him, other than IWWF or dying with ICWW. Anyways, it was quite obvious that this blowup was going to eventually come, unless everyone changed their attitude quickly. I mentioned in my column, which took a few days to write due to my being away during the weekend, that everyone should just stick it out for the best of the companies. Unfortunatly, by that time the unevitable had already occured. I'll go into detail with my thoughts on the involved parties personally, along with many other people. AndrooAndroo made a mistake in claiming power and deopping Shane/Mick while Darren and I weren't around. If we were truly the ones in power, why could Androo not respect Darren's wishes to op Shane [A decision I most likely would have argued upon my return, but that is beyond the point]. Androo should have waited to speak to one of us about this decision, rather than take matter's into his own hands. I think he realises this now, but now is a little late. Banning Darren, would obviously signify the break of our partnership. He then proceeded to attempt to guilt trip Darren into staying. Androo has always been like that. Should he not get his way, he'll first attempt to guilt trip you, then he'll threaten suicide. Hell, one time Darren jobbed back the IWWF title because he said he would committ suicide, and Darren didn't care for it that much. From what I've heard, he is bi-polar and also depressed, but you know what. That's not my personal problem, and I'm tired of this shit. He can't seem to accept other's opinions. He's so self induced. "Tired of this shit. Tired, Tired, Tired" Get used to seeing that quote. It's from a Chris Rock standup performance by the way, freaking hilarious. Anyways, from what I understand Androo is going to attempt his own federation, and is assuming everyone from IWA sides with him. ICWW and IWA will continue on, best of luck with his aspirations however. He's probably reading this fuming, and will soon message me with a threat of packets, but fuck it. I'm not about to hold back my opinion on how he is. But hey, I'm not telling you something you don't already know. ShaneShane is a constant instigator. He's always looking for a good argument, and he's found that in Androo. He's found someone who he can disagree with on a lot of points, and can have a long, intellectual [for the most part] argument. It's what led to the downfall of IWA, to a certain degree, in my opinion. Nonetheless, I consider him to be a good friend. I appreciate his originality and attitude through out all aspects of the federation. He is very reliable, and has earned the main title which he holds now. Ironize / IWWFSeriously, I could write an entire column about this kid. Kid, I stress the word. It's how he looks, and he reflects it in how he acts. Honestly, using different IP's to join the channels and attempt to insult us? Pathetic. I go to school, and have to deal with the idiocy which is society, I come home to avoid it and surround myself with people I can co-exist with. And then this child comes in with his stupidity, his ignorance, and makes my mind boggle. This kid has nothing better to do than come in and attempt to make fun of us for the 2 minutes he's in there, fully knowing he's getting the boot. This kid needs some counseling. He comes in and attempts to use our words against us, saying that if we've got so much better quality, than why doesn't it reflect in our quantity. Simply put, IWWF people are weak minded. Over the years, they've been brain washed by Justin. I've seen it first hand. It nearly happened to me. I was one of the one's lucky enough to escape it. They don't see us as being better quality, because they've grown up in the i-wrestling world believing that a good bot = a good fed. And that's how it was, until the era of results, which made it feel more like an actual federation. They've never had running shows up until this point, and their results are terrible. The storylines are consistantly just matches, with little to no background behind them. Stonecold -v- X. Stonecold -v- Y. Give it a break guys. Justin can add all the improvements he wants, it will never equal a better federation. He knows this. He wishes he had Mick's creative storyline ability in his federation. In IWA we've set a course for better storylines than IWWF have in the last - month? Checking IWWF's last results. We had 4 - count 'em - 4 pointless matches, with Stonecold/Rock II. So wait, not only is it a sequel [and you haven't even had your first ppv yet], but you're ripping off the current WWE product? Weak. "You've already shown your hatred for IWWF, why continue it??" - JustinV Because Justin, unlike you, I'm anti-ignorance. You let it run amok in your channel. Facts is an unheard of word when it comes to IWWF, and everyone spews shit, knowingly untrue. Where is the point in this? Especially if you know you're going to get caught. It makes you look immature. In IWWF, people are consistantly hitting the proverbial glass ceiling, where as in ICWW, you're given your chance to run with the ball. Some pick it up and run with it, others drop it. When was the last time Chaos Drone, or someone of the kind, was given a serious chance in the federation? Oh, he's still in line with the other 40 people to fight StoneCold, because that's your only running storyline, right? Great managerial skills there. Mick Lucifer was a long standing champion, and that being because of our smaller roster. Still, we created believable storylines, and made it interesting. You can't say that about the current IWWF product. Fire StormMy opinions on Fire Storm are known throughout the i-wrestling world. But it seems that just now is he attempting to insult me back. So here we go. I read his little post on the IWWF site, and again, what are these people thinking?? When we say quality, we mean the quality of the product in general, not the quality of the wrestlers. I didn't think it was that hard to interpret. But if we're going to indulge into who has the better wrestlers, let's. First of all, we can't compare actual skills because these are fictional. But we can compare characters, something ICWW strives in creating, whereas IWWF do not seem to know how to accomplish this feat. Here's a sample from the latest show :"The cameras showed Chaos_Drone in the General Managers' office. He was talking with Fire^Storm, who told him he didn't do well in his match with Numb- at Onslaught. Drone said he was sorry and that it was one of the most terrible nights in his career. He said he'd do much better next time and asked Fire^Storm to get a match at Onslaught. The General Manager said he'd get a match against an established superstar to have a chance to really prove his abilities. " How is this supposed to get either wrestler over? This is a useless attempt to fill space on the page, and again proves my statement in which they believe quantity is equal to quality. Until I have a valid argument against my points, this book is closed. I'm done dealing with stupidity. Joshheart BrandAgain, my thoughts on Josh have been covered. I believe he is very egotistical, and does not know how to break kayfabe. From what I have viewed, he does not have the same passion as he once did, which I think is good for all parties involved, because his attitude used to turn people off of i-wrestling completely. He had a good thought in IWWE, but did not know how to fully work it. ICWW has picked up where IWWE left off, and have had success. TrellIt seems to me that this whole 'Trell joins ICWW, leaves before PPV' was set up in an attempt to hurt ICWW, which was in fact pitiful. It should have been obvious that ICWW would not have run around like headless chickens, wondering what we will do without Trell, something IWWF most likely would have done. Trell seemed more mature than this, but apparently you can give off any vibe over the internet, but eventually your true colours will be shown. He was most likely manipulated into doing this by Marc, and it just goes off to show how weak the leaders of that federation are. The-RockI'm not sure if I need to mention anything here. He was lured back to IWWF by ops and a title shot [another great example of the amazing storylines they're running over there], but I'm sure eventually he'll attempt to come back to ICWW because he'll throw another one of his now classic bitch fits. I think that basically sums up my thoughts on him. Mick LuciferMick had/has an amazing vision and product within ICWW. He's taken the i-wrestling world, shaken it up, and revolutionized it. He's made results an important part of how a federation is run. He's re-written history, and when everything is said and done, he will be remembered for introducing all of this. Period. Now, that being said, my quarrels with Mick stem from the odd occasion he can be an ass. He's very intellectual with it, so when he insults you like he can it makes you feel belittled. But most times, it is deserved. I have no problem with schooling idiots. It needs to be done. Justin VerrierIt's common knowledge Justin and I are good friends, but I'm just going to point out some things I see. He's weak, and let's people push him around. He always has been. He lets people walk all over him. If he ever plans to make something of his federation, he needs to stand up to the people pushing him around, he needs to stop the ignorance which is breeding within his channel. He needs to realise that he must do something to improve the state of attitude which dwells in his channel. He needs to realise that assumptions will get him nowhere in life. It gets frustrating to see good minds being wasted by having to converse with the idiocy which breeds within IWWF. Thoughts On The State Of I-WrestlingThis is i-wrestling, and yet people find a way to create problems. For something which is supposed to be fun, people have been finding a way to make it less enjoyable, and it's not worth it. Grow up. No one creates these federations so it can harbor negative people. Even if you can't stand the person in that channel, attempt to co-exist, respect their opinion. If you're going to express your opinion, go about it in an intelligent way. Don't spew negative, ignorant bullshit. It's people like that which give i-wrestling a bad name. The people who are involved with i-wrestling are generally seen as idiots, because that's what we've been classified as due to packeters, idiots and such running amok. It's time for it to stop. The childish shit, let it rest. Random ThoughtsI'm tired of everyone being so goddamn two-faced. I'm tired of being two-faced. The shit is annoying, and it's time for it to come to an end. Here's another little exposure, although most of you probably already know it. I didn't do the html shit for that site, I figured it was obvious Mick did. I put a lot of time and effort into an attempt, but it was quite obvious I couldn't, so Mick stepped in and threw me some basic shit to work with. I asked him if he wanted his name to be published on the site, to give credit where it was due, but he said not to as I would be maintaining the site. Regardless, I'm taking my name off the site, because it is wrong for me to take credit for his work. It's two-faced for me to pretend to everyone else that I've created the site, then go to Mick in a private message, asking what else should be done for the site. The only shit I'll be doing for that site is maintaining it, and the roster page, something which will hopefully be completely different from what Mick had done for the ICWW site. So here's what I'm telling you : Stop being so two faced. If you have a problem with me, and I know a lot of you do, tell me you disagree with me when I say something. Don't wait for me to disconnect and start shit behind my back. Because I will find out. And then I'll have to write another column like this one. These columns aren't fun to write, unlike the other one's. This shit is annoying, I shouldn't have to rant like this. I shouldn't have to be so damn hipocritical, because I probably idolize alot of this shit I'm speaking out against. But I don't care, this is me. ConclusionWell, this issue certainly turned into a hate column didn't it? It was going to be longer, but due to my illness it became a lot shorter than expected. I'm tired of you monkeys asking me over the last few days "Oh, where's the column Matt?!?!" Fuck. But whatever, you wanted to see a more raw side, there you have it. Between being sick, dealing with school, dealing with the idiocy which is this war, and having to deal with the ignorance which is constantly being spewed over the internet, I think it's rather understandable where these feelings stem from. I'm sure I'm going to catch a bit of heat for this. Write me a hate column. See if I care. I'll sit back and laugh. There's no 'wins' or 'losses' in doing this. The way I see it, I've already won. I've told you what I think of you, and there isn't anything you can do to me personally to make me care anymore. I'm taking this all as words on a screen now. Don't make me come back with Unleashed Two, and rant on your asses again. It isn't a fun process. Should I feel the need to rant in an attempt to show you how stupid you're all being, I will do so. Until then, take care, realise what is truly important in life. Grow up. Also, be sure to check out Nomad's site [ http://www.kingoftables.tk ] to check out his thoughts and opinions much like this column expressed. -Matt Everything © 2003 Matt Peters. Don't touch. |
