Percy Pringle Interview

Why did you decide to get into wrestling?

I was a fan since my parents used to take me to the matches when I was 5 years old.

Who do you feel is the greatest wrestler of all time?

Ric Flair

How did you get into the WWF/WWE?

After 15 years experience in the industry, I was recommended by my friend, the late Rick Rude. I was interviewed by Vince McMahon and hired the same day.

Who has been your biggest wrestling influence?

Bobby Heenan

Do you still watch any of the WWE programs?

I don't go out of my way to watch. But if it's on, I do watch.

Do you feel that within the past year Vince McMahon has pressed the envelope a little far as far as storylines are concerned?

Absolutely. The "Katie Vick" angle and the recent "Race" storyline involving Teddy Long and D'Lo Brown on MLK's birthday is sickening.

What wrestlers if any do you still keep in contact with from the WWE?

The Hebner Brothers, The Prichard Brothers, and Kane.

Do you think that you will ever be in the WWE again?

You can never say "never" in this business. But, I don't see anything for me there at this time, nor the near future.

What do you enjoy best managing, working backstage as an agent, wrestling, or scouting future ring talent and why?

On air-talent has always been my niche, and that is what I am the best at.

The wrestling industry has been in a downslide lately. What will it take to bring it back up?

I don't have a clue. It may require a miracle by Benny Hinn.

What is your best wrestling memory?

The first time I appeared in Madison Square Gardens stands out.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Still involved in wrestling in some fashion, just 5 years older.
