Jeremy Lopez Interview

How did you get into wrestling?

Well, it was something I wanted to do when I was a kid so every so often I would see things on TV or the news about wrestling schools. SO I collected for about 6 yrs or so every info I could find about schools. When the Internet came around that's when I really started researching it. I finally decided to go to Malenkos School Of Wrestling in Tampa, FL.

What wrestling promotions have you worked for?

I have worked for many I will just name the ones in on the top of my head WCW, Osaka Pro in Japan, Nwa Ga, IPW, CCW, HWA, Nwa FL, Spwf that's all I can remember for now.

What titles have you held?

Titles well, IM not someone who has a long list of title history I am 2 time Nwa Ga Jr Wildeside champ.

What was it like to work in WCW?

WCW was great I loved it besides going to the power plant everyday. All the on WCW Sat night were happy doing that we worked hard and always had fun I wish I was back in those days.

What was it like working in Japan?

I spent 11 weeks there during the summer last year I had a great time. Wrestling there is unbelievable. Now I know why Chris Benoit is so good. If you ever get a chance to see Osaka Pro I would def. get some tapes if you can or you can order 4 hours of me over there on my site www.jeremylopez.net.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

See I will be 29 almost 30 Ill be wrestling hopefully making some money.

What wrestler have you not yet wrestled that you would like to wrestle in the future and why?

There are a lot of them but if I had to chose one it would be Chris Benoit. I guess because I think he is great

Who do you feel is the greatest wrestler of all time and why?

That's would be hard for me to decide so I will give you a list Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, Eddie G, Four Horseman, British Bulldogs, R&R Express I dunno why I just like those people.

What do you do to relax?

Go to the movies or watch DVDS

What is you most memorable match that you have had so far?

Bash at the Beach 1999 and Monday Nitro both were dark matches but I got hired after it so that would have to be most memorable match Me & Tony Mamaluke vs Jamie Knoble and Jet Jaguar

What is the best part of being in the wrestling business?

Traveling and meeting many different people.

What is the worst part of being in the wrestling business?

Not too many places to make money

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of getting into professional wrestling?

You miss 100% of all shots you don't take

Who would you say is your biggest wrestling influence and why?

Dean Malenko. That's who trained me
