Here I sit at my brand new Juggerstories typing area. I actually kinda like this one better than the old one, there's a nice light already attached to the wall right above my head and this room is about 3 times the size of my last one. It kinda makes my few possesions look even less, but that's fine with me, it gives me more room to run around in circles, not saying I run around in circles for no particular reason, but if I chose to do so, then I would have more space to do it. Another bonus is that I have a brand new dog to play with. The people that live upstairs have a rottweiler named Spook....cool dog.
I started reading a new book the other day, it's a book called Hell's Angels by Yves Lavigne. Apparently it's a pretty famous book on bike gangs. Dr. Luther gave me the book about 2 years ago and I'm just getting around to reading it now. Pretty good so far, I just finished the chapter on the history of the Hell's Angels, interesting stuff. I didn't know that they were an extension of a military group that called themselves the Hell's Angels, I guess it makes sense though since the founders were ex fighter pilots. I'll keep everyone updated as I read more.
What in the hell is the deal with baseball this time?! Geeze, those guys seem to go on strike every couple years. It makes absolutely no sense to me. If I was making five million dollars a year, I think I would just shut the hell up and sit in my own little corner with a giant smile on my face wondering what I ever did to have it so good. I'm not sure who agrees with me on this one, and I really haven't paid too close attention to the details, but I really don't think people that make that much money to play a game for a living should be given the option of complaining too much. I'm not saying that they shouldn't have their say in things, but the second money is brought up, the only thing they should be saying is "thank you very much sir". Everybody on earth wishes they could make a living playing games, but only very few actually get the chance, and I guarantee none of these guys were complaining about owners, coaches, money, etc. etc. etc., when they were playing little league, because it was all about the enjoyment of the game. They all need to sit back and take a page out of Kirby Puckett's book and maybe turn down a few extra bucks to make sure the rest of the team is taken care of.
I went out for a bit of a wander around the new "hood" today. No only did I turn the wrong way and end up walking further into the rural area, but the only place I found in about 3 hours of wandering around, was an Aquatic/Fitness Centre. I was under the impression that when you called something a fitness centre, you needed to have more than 2 exercise bikes, a treadmill and a couple weightlifting machines, but maybe I'm wrong. They have a nice looking pool, but that's doesn't necessarily help all that much. I suppose it's good to know that I can go practice moonsaults into a pool only a few bloacks from here. It's always interesting seeing the reaction of the local residents when I go wandering around for the first few times. I guess there's something about a 6'4", 375 pound guy with a bright red beard that tends to draw some attention. I don't get it.
Only a couple weeks until I once again step into the ring with Dr. Luther, but this time we're not on the same side. That's right, Pro Outlaw Wrestling, September 15th, Saskatoon Saskatchewan, I will be facing the good Doctor one on one. Wrestling Dr. Luther is not like wrestling anyone else. With some guys, you can go in half assed and still beat the ever loving hell out of them, but with Doc, if you don't bring your best game, you'll be lying on your back counting lightbulbs before you realize what happened. His talent, mixed with his 13+ years of experience make him one hell of an opponent. I'll definitaly be ready, I suppose the only true question is, will he?
So the weekend is now behind me, and I have a couple wrestling shows to talk about. Last Friday I wrestled on the Stampede Wrestling show in Calgary with my new Stampede Wrestling tag team partner, the 6'8" Karnage. This time we faced Rod Rage and Rico Barzini, once again we stomped through them on our goal for a Stampede Wrestling tag team title shot, and after I hit Rod Rage with the K-Drill, it was over. September 6th at the Ogden Legion, myself and KArnage will get a shot for the Stampede Wrestling tag team titles against Bruce Hart and TJ Wilson. We'll all just have to wait and see what happens there. Saturday I wrestled on the first ever Hybrid Wrestling Coalition show also in Calgary. I wrestled Johnny Handsome, basically a little freak of a musclehead, with alot more agility than the average muscle bound oaf. Handsome brought his best game to the table that day, but it still wasn't enough, I ended up pinning him after about 19 minutes with the K-Drill on the very chair he snuck in and tried to beat me with. The crowd for the show was around 400, which is very good for a wrestling show in Calgary. The show itself could obviously use some work, but I think it was pretty good for being their first show ever and if they keep it up, it will be a good thing for wrestling in Alberta.
I went for another wander around the new "hood" again, and this time I didn't get lost. I actually found another dollar store (I love dollar stores) and a bunch of other cool places. Since I am only about 4 blocks off of one of the major roads in Calgary, I knew I was bound to find some cool things when I eventually learned my way around the place.
I am still waiting on some of the pictures I have been talking about lately, but I do have a couple things I can put up for this week's pictures of the week. This first one was sent to me by one of my all time favorite guys in the wrestling business, Guillotine Legrande. He sent it to me knowing that I always appreciate some good bleeding. Apparently this was taken after his last match ever. I recently had some things to say about Guillotine, you can check them out in the archives, until then, check out his website at www.guillotinelegrande.com

This next picture is by great demand. After posting the picture from the WCW match, I have recieved a few e-mails and requests for a couple more, well I don't have a ton more, but here's one of me getting murdered by a double shoulder tackle from Kronic, this happened right before the last picture where I was getting the double choke slam.

I may be making an early appearance in Saskatchewan for Pro Outlaw Wrestling next week. I was recently contacted by the POW office, asking if I was available for a show next week. I haven't decided if I am going to make the trip or not, but either way, POW has a show at the University, I believe in Saskatoon, on September 5th, be sure to check it out if you are in the area.
On that note, I believe I am done for this week. This commentary is a little longer than they have been lately, so I hope everyone enjoyed it.
Until next time.....Chicks Dig Scars...... Dollar stores rule! ........getting lost sucks........ go support local indy wrestling ........and remember, friends don't let friends wear Andre the Giant shirts!!!!
