Well I finally got around to toobin' down a river the other day. Basically we grab inflatable things and float down one of the rivers in the city. I had a good time trying to catch the ducks and geese, even though I was a bit worried that all the adult Canadian Geese were going to try and peck my eyes out when I got a bit too close to their wee ones. It was a really hot day out and I don't really worship the sun all that much, so of course I walked away with a bit of a sunburn on the places I missed with the sunscreen. Pretty relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
The Calgary Stampede is in full effect here right now, which basically makes anything you want to do, 100 times more difficult to get done. The city is crazy with people, the tourist type that have no idea what they are doing or where they are going. For anyone that doesn't know, The Calgary Stampede is the world's biggest yearly Rodeo/Carnival/Party and the entire city takes on the old west theme for a couple weeks. I doubt I will actually head down to the Stampede grounds this year, unless of course I win a lottery and have a ton of money to spend.
This Friday will be another Stampede Wrestling show in Calgary. I am once again stepping in the ring with Rico Barzini. I guess he figures he came so close to beating me last time, that he needs another shot at it. I have no problem with that, I was extremely impressed with Rico last time we wrestled. In fact I am going to put a picture from our last match as the first picture of the week. Here it is, a picture of me leaning back on a camel clutch with Rico Barzini.

For the next picture, we will go to a somewhat recent match I had against "Crazy Horse" Eddie Mustang. I have recieved a couple e-mails from people asking what my ankle screw is. Well here is the best picture of it so far. As you can tell it's alot like a Dragon leg screw, but instead of going under the knee, I keep a nice tight grip on the ankle. This picture was taken right as I started spinning under his leg.

My sister's wedding only a couple weeks away. Nobody broke down and let me wear a red velvet tux, I was hoping that maybe they would get all caught up in getting ready for the wedding and just cave in, but alas, it's not to be and I am stuck wearing black and ivory (I think that means white). Gotta head back to the hometown for the first time this year. It's always an interesting time being there. Always good to see all the family and the rest of the Cranbrookians. A buddy of mine just got traded from the Dallas Stars to the Tampa Bay Lightning, so if he's around I'll have a good time harassing him about that. I suppose it's not really justified when he still has a multi-million dollar contract and I am wrestling in the indies for peanuts, but it's fun to bug him anyways. My coffee intake always goes up in Cranbrook too, since another buddy of mine owns a gym, and I like to go drink a dozen or so cups while we sit around and shoot the preverbial shit. I'll be definitaly playing at least one round of golf in the few days I am out there. Hopefully I can try and get in a couple more, but we'll have to see about that. I have a few games lined up over the summer in Calgary, so once winter rolls back around I should have played a fair bit, probably not near enough to satisfy me, but anything is better than nothing. I already miss hitting the links at Golden Eagle in Port Coquitlam with the good ole Ladies Choice.
That damn Allison Danger and Sister Brandi had me drooling the other day. I call to ask a simple question about something, and they have to go and tell me that they were sitting at a delicious seafood buffet. Now all I have been thinking about for the past few days, is how great is would be to have a seafood buffet, and of course there is no damn seafood buffet in Calgary, especially not during the Stampede when you will be lucky to find anything other than pancakes and sausage in the morning and beef the rest of the day. I did break down and head out for a delicious sushi feast yesterday, so that will tide me over until I actually sit at the very same buffet that they spoke so highly of......Damn them!
Now I want buffet again, damn them again! I think maybe I'll head out to the Barbeque and cook up a nice steak or something instead, so, even though I am typing on my laptop, it's tough to cook and type at the same time.
So....Until Next time.....Chicks dig Scars.....Alliandbrandiaregoingtopaydearly..... I need to play golf .........go OUTSIDE and play in a sprinkler...... and steaks are good!!
